Process begins each morning at 8:00 a.m. when automated emails containing new incidents and/or updates to previously submitted incidents during the past 24 hours:

Daily emailed report to District Attorney Offices

Daily emailed report to County Attorney Offices

Daily emailed report to all the various law enforcement agencies

Custom application used to link the various law enforcement record management system(s) with the county prosecution system. Web based viewing of case record details to include photos, documents and videos.

County prosecution staff access the extended iSeries application to review, accept or reject the automated cases transferred from law enforcement agency record management system(s). Interfaces between the iSeries and Web-based application have been established for easy access to narratives, supplements, photos, documents and videos.

Review complaint and assisgn District or County case number

Note: Once a case has been accepted and the Prosecution case number has been assigned the case is active in the County’s system. This is all achieved with minimal to no data entry by the users.
