Maxima is a family company established in 1990 as a paint trading company. Having seen that the offer of high quality interior paints at the market was poor, the family decided to start their own production in 1994. The first product on its road of development was Maxipol, the product which made this company easy to recognize.

The beginnings were very modest. The daily production capacity amounted to 5 tons. Today Maxima Company has the production capacity of 1000 tons of finished products a day with the product portfolio offering solutions for all kinds of finishing works in civil engineering.

The passion for perfecting the existing products and developing new technologies, its commitment to customers and their requirements, its belief that the top quality is the only imperative when considering design of new formulas, production and distribution of products, have brought Maxima Company to the rank of most successful companies from this region in the field of manufacturing products for finishing works in civil engineering.

The most valuable item which distinguishes Maxima are its loyal customers who have recognized the company’s efforts to provide the best quality and price ratio and have rewarded the company with their trust in this brand. Thank you for that!

Manner of application: Add 5kg of MAXIFIL Joint Filler to ≈2.3l of water, mix well using a broad knife until a homogenous, lump-free mixture is achieved. Open time is about 40 minutes. When treating joints of gypsum-cardboard panels, clean the joints from dust and other impurities. Fill the joints with the filler, then apply some of the strips (bandage, glass or paper depending on the joint type) and push it slightly into the substance. Apply the second coat over the fully dry previous coat. If bonding is to be performed, clean the surfaces from dust and crumbly particles and grout them with an appropriate MAXIKRIL base depending on the surface condition. Apply the substance with a notched trowel along the panel edges and mid area in the form of a strip. Do not use MAXIFIL Joint Filler when the air humidity in premises is higher and if water-repellent gypsum-cardboard panels are used. For water-repellent gypsum-cardboard panels use MAXIFIL JFH. After the application, immediately rinse the tools with water. Treat the surfaces further after 2-3 days depending on the temperature and relative humidity.

MAXIDECOR

®

Travertino Properties and application: MAXIDECOR Travertino is a special decorative dry type of render, used for decorative protection of interior and exterior mineral surfaces. It has been carefully designed of specially selected marble aggregates, high quality cement, polymers and additives in order to replicate the natural stone effect with accentuated “veins” and texture. It is distinguished by its excellent adherence to mineral substrates, good water vapour permeability, excellent water repellence and resistance to weather conditions and UV rays.

Substrate preparation: The surface must be flat, dry and clean, with no loose or crumbly areas, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities that could prevent its good adhesion to the substrate. Leave the rendered surfaces to dry for 28 days and the finishing coat of adhesive and reinforcement mortar for 7 days. Prior to the application the surface must be grouted. With newly rendered surfaces and surfaces with lower load-bearing capacity, walls must be impregnated with MAXIKRIL Hidrosol base. When MAXIKRIL Hidrosol is dry, apply the white ROLOGRUND.

Material preparation: Add 20kg of MAXIDECOR Travertino to 5.0-5.5l of water and mix it to achieve a homogenous mass with no lumps, but not for too long in order to avoid foam formation which could cause problems with application. If the foam

has formed, leave the material to rest for 15-20 minutes and then apply it to the substrate. The prepared mixture must be used within 2 hours.

Manner of application: Apply an even coat of MAXIDECOR Travertino using a stainless broad knife so that the coat thickness is approximately 1.5 to 2.0mm. 10-15 minutes after the application (depending on the weather conditions), i.e. as soon as the material starts to dry, start creating the texture using the appropriate tools (e.g. tools with artificial grass) in order to create „veins“ which are typical for travertine natural stone, the imitation of which should be achieved. After that, use the stainless broad knife to even out the surface by applying a larger pressure in order to create the natural stone texture. When the application procedure is finished, start „cutting“ the applied material in order to achieve the imitation of stone blocks. “Cut” the material with a rounded corner of a smaller spatula or a screwdriver creating blocks of appropriate size. In order to create fully horizontal and vertical lines, use a large level as a guide. After the application, immediately rinse the tools with water.

Painting technique: MAXIDECOR Travertino is painted with special semi-transparent coat of MAXIDECOR Velatura, at least 24 hours after its application and in line with the producer’s instructions.

Consumption: ≈2 kg/m2, depending on the technique and manner of application as well as the quality of the substrate.

HIDROMAX

® 505Features and purpose: HIDROMAX 505 is an elastic two-component polymer - cement mass made on the basis of cement, selected fillers, waterproof and water-repellent polymer with the addition of an additive. It consists of dry component A and liquid component B, whose mixture creates a pasty mass that is applied with a brush. It is used to protect buildings from water wicking, penetration of water under low pressure, as well as in situations where it is necessary to provide water resistance in a positive hydrostatic pressure of water. It is recommended for waterproofing bathrooms, kitchen, ground walls, basements and fundamental premises, tanks and pools. It can be used in systems with underfloor heating.

Manner of work: The surface must be: carryable, clean and free of loose materials, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other contaminants. Concrete surfaces, cement screeds, and mortar must be min. 28 days old. Large cavities and damaged items to be previously filled out with a patching mortar, concrete or KERAMOL adhesive for ceramic tiles. The content of one 5 kg bag (component A) is gradually added to 5 kg of liquid (component B) under continuous mixing (mixing ratio 1: 1), until a homogeneous mass is suitable for brush application. Let the mass stand 10 minutes, then stir again. Thus prepared mass is ready for installation and must be used within 1 hour. Before applying the substrate, the surface should be dampened well. The prepared mass is applied with solid and robust brush, in two coatings, in a cross-process. The second coating is applied immediately after the first layer hardens while it is not completely dry. Each subsequent layer is applied in the opposite direction so that the layers are crossed. In areas that are exposed to the strong influence of water you may need 3 or 4 coats. If the time between the application of layers is greater than 24 hours, the previous layer is to be lightly sandblasted. Min. total thickness of layers is 2 mm, and max. 5 mm. Corners, drains, and pipe penetrations must be insulated using insulating tape. It is possible to walk on isolated background after 3 days. Ceramic tiles can be laid after min. 12 hours, depending on thickness and climatic conditions.

MAXIMAL

® CProperties and use: MAXIMAL C is a ready-made cement mortar used for machine and manual plastering of all load-bearing interior and exterior wall surfaces. It can be used with all wall types made of brick, aerated concrete elements, concrete and natural stone. It is recommended for premises with increased moisture content, sanitary facilities, basements, etc.

Manner of application: Surfaces must be dry, free of dust, grease and other impurities as well as with no loosely bonded areas. Larger uneven areas as well as holes and installation slits must be filled in advance. With brick walls having deep and wide joints, it is necessary to fill the latter before mortar is applied. Surfaces treated in such a manner must be grouted. We recommend MAXIMAL Spray for grouting smooth surfaces; another recommendation is MAXIKRIL Contact, acrylic bonding bridge. Very absorbent surfaces should be grouted with MAXICRIL Concentrate base. Apply the mortar by machine and immediately after the application use the aluminium H screed rail to roughly even the surface. After the surface is partially dry, remove the excess material. The mortar is „opened“ by aluminium T screed rail or with a special scraper. The surface remains rough after such a treatment. After the „opening“ the surface must be sprayed with water and floated by foam sanding block, thus achieving the finishing appearance. Minimum coat thickness is 1.5cm. With uneven surfaces where a thicker coat of mortar should be applied, apply the mortar again after a certain period of time but before the previous coat has bonded.

Application temperature: Optimum application temperature ranges from +5°C do +25°C. The air and surface to which mortar is applied must be in this temperature range.

Consumption: ≈16kg/m² for 10mm thickness for applying to even surfaces.

Shelf life and storage: 6 months from the date of production stated on the packaging. Keep in a properly sealed and undamaged packaging in dry and well aerated premises.

MAXIMAL

® GProperties and use: MAXIMAL G is a ready-made gypsum-lime mortar used for machine and manual plastering of all load-bearing interior wall surfaces. It can be used for all wall types made of brick, aerated concrete elements, concrete and natural stone.

Manner of application: Surfaces must be dry, free of dust, grease and other impurities as well as with no loosely bonded areas. With brick walls having deep and wide joints, it is necessary to fill the latter before mortar is applied. Surfaces treated in such a manner must be grouted. For impregnation of smooth concrete surfaces use MAXIKRIL Contact, acrylic bonding bridge. Grout very absorbent surfaces with MAXIKRIL Concentrate base. Apply the mortar by machine and immediately after the application use the aluminium H screed rail. After the coat is partially dry, the surface must be „felted“. In this manner the mortar is finally distributed and levelled. After „felting“ the surface is treated with a butterfly trowel, skimmed, to achieve the fine, smooth, finishing appearance. Minimum coat thickness is 8mm. For uneven surfaces where a thicker coat of mortar should be applied, apply the mortar twice. The first coat should be sprayed and combed to remain rough, then wait to harden and dry and after that apply the second coat. After spraying the surface, empty the hose, pump and mixer. Do not mix with other materials!

Application temperature: Optimum application temperature ranges from +5°C do +25°C. The air and surface to which mortar is applied must be in this temperature range.

Consumption: ≈12kg/m² for 10mm thickness for applying to even surfaces.

Shelf life and storage: 6 months from the date of production stated on the packaging. Keep in a properly sealed and undamaged packaging in dry and well aerated premises.

ROLOCEM®

Properties and use: ROLOCEM is a cement-lime dry type of render used for protection and de-coration of exterior and interior wall surfaces as well as the finishing coat for thermal insulation facades. It can be applied to asbestos cement, gypsum-cardboard panels and chipboards. It has good adherence to the substrate, water vapour permeability, strength and stability in different climate areas. It is resistant to weather and UV rays.

Manner of application: Surface must be flat, dry, firm, with no loose and crumbly areas, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities which may prevent good adherence to the substrate. Leave the rendered surfaces to dry for 28 days and the finishing coat of adhesive and reinforcement mortar for 7 days. Prior to

application, surface must be grouted. With newly rendered surfaces and surfaces with lower load-bearing capacity, walls must be first impregnated by MAXIKRIL Hidrosol base. When MAXIKRIL Hidrosol is dry, apply ROLOGRUND. Add 25kg of ROLOCEM to 5.0-5.5l of water and mix well to achieve a homogenous, lump-free mixture, but not to long to avoid formation of foam which may cause problems in application. In case this happens, leave the mixture for 15-20 minutes and apply then. Use up the prepared mixture within 2 hours. Apply ROLOCEM after the primer is fully dry using a steel or plastic trowel and do the finishing treatment with a flat plastic trowel. Paint the surfaces treated with ROLOCEM after 3 weeks of ROLOCEM application at earliest. After application, immediately rinse the tools with water.

Application temperature: Optimum applicati-

on temperature ranges from +10°C do +30°C. It must not be used below +5°C as well as in bright sunshine, wind, fog and rain. Protect the newly coated surfaces, in optimum conditions, from the weather impact for at least 24 hours.

Shelf life and storage: 6 months from the date of production stated on the packaging. Keep in the sealed and undamaged packaging in dry and well aerated premises.

COLORPLAST®

Properties and use: COLORPLAST is a high-qu-ality decorative mosaic on basis of acrylates and marble grains with 2mm particle size. It is dis-tinguished by good adherence to the substrate and high strength. It is stable against the impact of weather and UV rays. It is used for protection and decoration of exterior and interior mineral wall surfaces. It represents the finishing coat for thermal insulation facades.

Manner of application: Surface must be flat, dry, firm, with no loose and crumbly areas, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities which could prevent good adherence to the su-bstrate. Leave the rendered surfaces to dry for 28 days and the finishing coat of adhesive and rein-forcement mortar for 7 days. Prior to application, surface must be grouted. With newly rendered surfaces and surfaces with lower load-bearing

capacity, walls must be impregnated by MAXI-KRIL Hidrosol base. When MAXIKRIL Hidrosol is dry, apply ROLOGRUND in a shade approximate to the shade of the render finish which prevents shadow appearance. Before application mix COLORPLAST until the initial foam appears and then it is ready to use. Avoid long and intensive mixing. In case a larger amount of foam appears, leave the can for 24 hours so that the excess air is released and only after that start the applicati-on. COLORPLAST OF DIFFERENT BATCHES AND DATES OF PRODUCTION MUST ALWAYS BE HO-MOGENISED! To conduct homogenisation, take a larger container and mix the content of several pails in it. When the homogenised amount of approximately one pail is used up, add the new one and mix. Render finish is applied after the primer is fully dry. Apply the 3mm thick coat with the steel broad knife. Remove the excess ma-terial with the steel broad knife and smooth it, paying attention not to leave any space among

the grains. When cleaning the broad knife and trowel and returning the material to the can, occasionally homogenise the returned material in order to avoid excess binder appearance in the finishing film. After application, immediately rinse the tools with water.

Application temperature: Optimum application temperature ranges from +10°C do +30°C. It must not be used below +5°C as well as in bright sunshine, wind, fog and rain. Protect the newly coated surfaces, in optimum conditions, from the weather impact for at least 24 hours.

Consumption: 4.5kg/m² on average for 3mm coat thickness.

Shelf life and storage: 12 months from the date of production stated on the packaging. Keep in the original, properly sealed and undamaged packaging at the temperatures from +5°C do +25°C, protected from the direct sunlight. Keep out of children’s reach.

ROLOAKRIL®

Properties and use: ROLOAKRIL is a high-quality decorative render based on acrylates. It is distinguished by high strength and water repellence. It provides good adherence to substrate and water vapour permeability. It is stable against the impact of weather and UV rays. It is used for protection and decoration of exterior and interior mineral wall surfaces. It represents the finishing coat for thermal insulation facades. It is available in white shade and can be tinted in MAXIMIX system in shades with F designation.

Manner of application: Surface must be flat, dry, firm, with no loose and crumbly areas, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other impurities which may prevent good adherence to the substrate. Leave the rendered surfaces to dry

for 28 days and the finishing coat of adhesive and reinforcement mortar for 7 days. With newly rendered surfaces and surfaces with lower load-bearing capacity, walls must be first impregnated by MAXIKRIL Hidrosol base. When MAXIKRIL Hidrosol is dry, apply ROLOGRUND tinted in a shade approximate to the shade of the render finish. Before application stir ROLOAKRIL and it is ready to use. ROLOAKRIL TINTED IN MAXIMIX SYSTEM OR ROLOAKRIL OF DIFFERENT BATCHES AND DATES OF PRODUCTION MUST ALWAYS BE HOMOGENISED!
