You can see how we carefully think about every product through the choice of materials and the inclusion of clever techniques – ranging from the ‘Release Profile Sole’ (patent pending) which aids rider safety to the concealed pocket in the suit bag to keep dressage tails crease free. We use 3d Computer Aided Design to develop our horse boots and the latest 3d scanning techniques to create a library of ‘virtual’ horses legs in all shapes and sizes on a computer. This allows us to design the boot to fit different legs before we make the product.

The result is a horse boot which gives optimum fit, comfort and protection.

D3O® impact protection is a patented technology used to create a soft and flexible shock absorbing barrier featuring unique molecular properties. At rest its molecules flow freely, but on impact, they lock together to absorb impact energy and reduce the force transmitted. This reaction is counter intuitive. The greater the force of the impact, the more the molecules lock together and the greater the protection.

Coolmax® is a wicking material that actively draws perspiration away from your body and through the fabric where it evaporates, resulting in a pleasant cooling effect. Due to this effective fibre-based moisture management system the fabric is extremely comfortable to wear and is being used in many sporting disciplines like golfing, hiking, running, cycling, soccer and basketball. Which is what makes Woof Wear Competition Socks so great.

Polartec® Power Stretch® is a comfortable, light, and highly breathable material which provides warmth without adding weight. Great for Rider wear, we use it in our Headband and Powerstretch Gloves.

Kevlar® is a man-made fibre stronger than steel, offering great strength whilst being light and durable. Bonded to neoprene it creates an extremely tough, abrasion-resistant finish giving maximum protection to the horse. Woof Wear use Kevlar® in their Ultra Boots, Kevlar® Overreach Boots and their Kevlar® Exercise Boots.

Breathable Neoprene has vents to encourage airflow and help keep joints and tendons cool. It is light, flexible and will not retain water. This is why we have incorporated it into a number of our Brushing and Cross Country Boots.

3M Scotchlite materials use retro reflection technology which occurs when light rays are returned in the direction of the original light source such as a car’s headlights. Hence it enhances horses’ and riders’ visibility in dark conditions as well as being highly visible during daylight hours. Which is why Woof Wear have put it onto the straps of the Reflective Club Boot.

Poron® Xrd™ Extreme Impact Protection is the best impact absorption material on the market. It is soft when at rest but upon high speed impact the Smart molecules in the foam firm to create a protective shield. Afterwards the material returns to its flexible state remaining comfortable and non-confining throughout. Poron Xrd absorbs up to 90% of high speed impact. This is why we incorporate it in our SMART boots.

A Waterproof and breathable membrane allows air circulation whilst remaining waterproof through all weather conditions. Woof Wear have selected this for use in the Horizon Waterproof Riding Boot.

Japanese designed Reintex® is constructed from extremely fine, densely compacted microfibers which create maximum surface area providing exceptional grip, superior feel and increased durability making it especially suitable for Riding Gloves.
