About us

Huhtamaki Henderson Ltd has a history dating back to 1939 when it started life as Carton Specialities. After numerous acquisitions with well-known brands such as Lily, Chinet, PolarCup, Bioware and Insulpak, Huhtamaki purchased the LilyPak group in 1988, Van Leer Packaging in 1999 and folded carton packaging specialists Interpac in 2015. Today we are known as Huhtamaki.

In our Henderson unit we manufacture paper ice-cream containers, injection moulded plastic products and folded cartons for the consumer market. We understand that packaging is about so much more than just what goes round a product. It’s about building brands, protecting reputation, and opening up new opportunities in new markets. That’s why we’re on hand, manufacturing locally, working as long-term partners with you, our customer as you develop and grow. We are the industry experts in paper container manufacture, and our site can offer both paper and plastic ice-cream packaging options to suit your requirements. We understand the advantages & also the limitations of these formats but importantly we have the scale, know-how and willingness to deliver to the highest quality.
