Scotland’s Baker of the Year 2015/16McGhee’s Bakery have been a family bakers since 1935. From the original bakehouse in Oran Street, Maryhill, Glasgow, we have grown to become one of the largest bakeries in Scotland and we are now working from our purpose built, state-of-the-art facilities, at the M8 Food Park in Glasgow.

We have an extensive range of bakery and confectionery products and continue to supply major catering groups, local authorities, independent retailers and cash & carry groups.

Family LoafBaked with the best flour for a delicious soft white loaf that is most certainly a family favourite!

Potato SconesPotato scones, or Tattie scones, depending on where in Scotland you’re from, are a delicious breakfast item, typically eaten as part of a fried breakfast or on a morning roll.

Crispy RollsCrispy rolls are sold loose and are recognisable for their rustic appearance. The rolls are crisp to touch but moist in the centre.

Morning RollsOur award winning Morning rolls are soft and tasty. Perfect as a breakfast roll with sausage, bacon or egg.

Radio adverts: 30 second and 60 second radio adverts are played heavily on local radio stations including Radio Clyde. The iconic “Good Morning” track, by Debbie Reynold’s, has become a recognizable feature of the campaign.

Outdoor Advertising: This ranges from massive billboards to branded vans, ensuring visibility wherever we go!

Out & About: The McGhee’s travel challenge—participants send in a snap wearing one of our Geez McGhee’s t-shirts in the most interesting/exotic locations possible and see who can take McGhee’s the furthest!

“Good Morning” Campaign: McGhee’s “Good Morning” campaign features in-store point of sale and vehicle graphics, offering great support for the Gold award winning Crispy Rolls. The company investment in marketing has helped create a strong recognizable brand within the Scottish Bakery industry.

Partick Thistle F.C.McGhee’s Bakery started life at Oran Street, Maryhill, Glasgow a stones throw away from Fir Hill the home of Partick Thistle Football Club and we’re only a few miles away now. We carry on our long association with The Jags in to the 2014/5 season. You can see our advertising and sample the pies on match day. We’re proud to be part of the local community.

Radio Clyde 1Our business partnership with Radio Clyde has gone from strength to strength. The latest campaign is inspired from Gene Kelly & Debbie Reynolds & Donald O’Connor—Good Morning—1952, performing in Singing in the Rain. McGhee’s products are baked overnight and delivered fresh every morning. Listen out for the adverts on Radio Clyde.
