PRESENTATION
Thanks to their high quality and reliability, the metallized PET fi lm capacitors of EXXELIA TECHNOLOGIES are widely used in different high performance demanding applications in Space, Defence and Aeronautic markets.
Today’s trend in high-professional power electronics requires capacitors with better energy density and low mass. The know-how acquired by EXXELIA TECHNOLOGIES over the years in me-tallized PET technology has permitted the miniaturization of the capacitors and their adaptation to various environmental constraints. In order to meet the new requirements in high-professional electronics, EXXELIA TECHNOLOGIES developed PM 907 and PM 948 series based on well-known PM 90 and PM 94.
After 5 years testing in the frame of space Evaluation, PM 907 S and PM 948 S offer approved reliable solution in different space-craft subsystems, launchers and payloads.
TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS
High Reliability, Self Healing Properties and Open circuit failure mode.High Energy Density.High RMS current thanks to low ESR and ESL.No capacitance drift under voltage and positive drift at high temperature.Light Weight and fl exible structure allowing high thermomecha-nical withstanding.Conformal outgassing to relevant specifi cationsLow radiation sensitivity.
