Jazz-N-June on the Mountain is where family and friends visit the Monte Sano State Park Amphitheater and enjoy a day of free jazz music, good food and love. Jazz-N-June is one of the longest successively free jazz festivals in the state of Alabama.

The Power of Love
Twenty Nine (29) years ago the Tennessee Valley Jazz Society introduced
the Jazz-N-June festival on the premises of bringing people together us-
ing music in the name of Love and World Peace. Back then I knew we
would be fighting against the norm because it seems that money and not
joy is what makes the world go round. Well, since that day 29 years ago
many, many other festivals and art events have come and gone because
the love (or lack) of money pushed them aside while our hearts still beat
true and our mission continues to move steadily forward. We at TVJS
both appreciate and respect money as much as any nonprofit organization
can but in our hearts we chose to focus our energy on the power that is
gifted by the Love of music and the Peace that Love brings. HB
