The Metrognomes

A four piece band formed after the great massacre of the Annaghdown turf war 2010. These four men, with the help of the parish, started pump-in’ tunes out the winda’ and have been pumpin’ out a hape of savage ALTERNATIVE rock choons ever since..

Skyboy:

Replicating the 3-piece guitar driven sounds from the likes of Biffy Clyro, Nirvana and Kerbdog, Skyboy have created a sound that puts a modern Hardcore twist on Alternative Rock music which often divulges into a flurry of hook-based riffs and mellow bass-breaks before erupting into layers of distortion, cymbal smashing and odd time-signatures. Formed in 2010, Skyboy have spent their time gigging throughout the country and consistantly writing new material to create a well balanced set of 4-chord epics and explosive breakdowns. Certainly a live show not to miss out on.

The Special Guests are a four piece cover band formed in 2011. They play a range of alternative and classic rock.

Gear Box A five piece heavy rock band based in Galway formed in the early stages of 2011. They are in-fluenced by a multitude of bands but they are most heavily by such bands as Thin Lizzy, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, AC/DC, Black Sabbath and Avenged Sevenfold. The band love gigs, they love beer and they’ll love WITLESS!

New Sunset Hotel New Sunset hotel are a four piece indie rock band from Castlebar/Kildare. The band formed in August 2008 and independently released their single ‘the bitter end’ which reached no. 10 in the Irish charts. They have spent the last few months recording an album set for release in the not so distant future.

Xidava Xidava are a four piece rock funk rockabilly (and everything else really) band, hailing from Galway City. They formed in October 2011 and have been going strong ever since.
