——— Welcome to NEXT18
W e are honoured that you freed up two days in your busy calendar to join this
awesome crowd here in Hamburg. Together we want to learn about digi-tal trends and their impact on human behaviour, before exploring what the-se mean for our business strategies and the core of our society. We warmly invite you to get inspired by interna-tional speakers in the morning and to join the conversations in various venues (bars, clubs, restaurants) in the afternoons.
NEXT offers you keynotes on the main stage Schmidts Tivoli, talks on the Creative Tech Stage (Schmidt Theater), and a participatory programme with workshops, talks, round tables and masterclasses in the afternoon, plus parties and a concert extravaganza in the evening.
Open up to new experiences, debates and surprising encounters. Now take a deep breath - and dive into NEXT18 on the following pages.
Please let us know your thoughts via #NEXT18 or personally.
Your NEXT Team
Download the official ‘NEXTCONF’ mobile app for iOS and Android, bringing you a Live Screen featuring news, current events and upcoming speakers, a personalised timetable, which can be synchronised with choices you’ve already made online, location maps and a lot more. nextconf.eu/app
Join us for networking!
— Networking Party on Thursday 9/20, 7:00 pm, Copper House
— MS NEXT, harbour boat trips - both days, River Elbe
— Closing Drinks on Friday 9/21, 6:00 pm, Copper House
A t NEXT, we want to examine some of the biggest challenges ahead. We need to fix digital
before it fixes us: How do we deserve to regain trust as companies? Do we build meaningful products that solve consumer problems? How can we redesign the digital world and implement new tech-nologies in responsible ways? These are some of the questions that we’ll discuss over the two days of NEXT. If you want to dive a little deeper into the topic: please pre-order our anthology ‘Digital Fix – Fix Digital’ with inspiring contribu-tions by authors and speakers from the NEXT community. It is edited by Matthias Schrader and Volker Martens, your hosts at the NEXT Conference, the book will be launched in October 2018 as a print version (German language) and an ebook version (English and German language).
