All International work programmed has never been seen before in Ireland

Large international work will take over the city in unexpected placesThose countries we are partnering with in our International programme are: UK, Argentina, Romania, France, Croatia, Egypt, Cuba,

NEW INITIATIVES TO ANIMATE THE CITY

New projects will take place across the city, investing in the cultural industries

The public will be able to visit and interact with a number of these projects

These projects will animate the city, providing new hotspots for people to visit

MADE IN THE CITY

LCOC has provided support for 109 projects These projects will span the year ranging from from theatre to history and heritage, community and civic projects to architecture and young peoples projects, arts, food and craft

This programme will provide visitors with a rich programme of Limerick arts and cultural product

4. LOCAL PROGRAMME

DISCOVER LIMERICK

Limerick is host to 41 festivals throughout the yearIt is estimated that 200 separate local events will take place in 2014 as part of the programme from choral concerts to theatre, food tastings to walks and talks

Limerick has some of the most iconic buildings and vistas in the country from King John’s Castle to Georgian Limerick, Thomond and the Shannon

Our International Programme will host between 8-10 companies throughout the year

Our Flagship Programme will support 10 large scale projects for the city and county

We will provide 10 Legacy and Commissioning Projects109 Made in Limerick projects will take place in the city and County

200 local Programme events will take place throughout the year along with 40 festivals

Streets, Stage, People & Places, Visual Art, Music, Secret Limerick, Food, Fashion & Craft, Na Leanaí, New Generation, Architecture, The Artists Call and Sport.
