which lies seven miles off the NH coast. Their beer is

now distributed in more than two dozen states, as well

as overseas in Europe and Asia. Their identity is an-

chored firmly here in coastal New England and is still

duction of Footloose which tells the story of a boy from

Chicago who finds himself having to move to a small,

rural town where dancing and rock 'n roll are forbidden.

The teenager creates a sensation when he plans a high

school dance, but ultimately reinvigorates the conserva-

tive community by even convincing the town‟s minister

to cut footloose. Marshwood is well known for their out-

standing theater productions. This is sure to be a high-

THE COLONIAL TABLE/OLDE SALT

and TUCK MUSEUM

Wednesday, March 23

The Colonial Table of Newmarket is our first stop today,

which is located at the home of Sandie Tarbox, who

specializes in Open Hearth Cookery from the 17th and 18th

Centuries. Sandie has many years of experience working in

New England‟s Colonial museums, including Hurd House

Museum, Strawbery Banke and Museum of Old York,

Maine. She has participated in many culinary workshops

at Sturbridge Village and Colonial Williamsburg. Sandie

will take us back in time where we‟ll not only learn about

the food but also the techniques and equipment that were

used to produce meals and the tablewear that was popular

during that time period. Sandie promises to have a treat

for us, too. Then we‟re off to Hampton to the Historical

Lamie‟s Tavern and Olde Salt Restaurant for a group

luncheon at this iconic inn built in 1740. Our last stop is

The Tuck Museum where we‟ll tour the main building and

if weather permits we‟ll also tour the other on site

buildings. The Barn is a reconstructed, historic structure

from Hampton's past. It now houses displays about early

Hampton industry - shoemaking, fishing, farming, black-

smithing, ice cutting, marsh haying, carpentry, etc. We‟ll

also tour the Fire Museum where we‟ll see a variety of fire

implements, a fire pumper and more. If you‟re a history

PICKITY PLACE

Wednesday, June 8th

We‟re heading to our favorite gourmet lunch and garden

destination in Mason, NH where we‟ll travel up winding,

dirt roads to the quaint 1786 cottage used as the model in

the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Here we‟ll enjoy a

delicious 5 course luncheon that will include Fresh Melon w/

Honey/Yogurt Dip, Potato Leek Soup, Mediterranean

Salad, Multi-Grain Bread and an entrée choice of either

Pork Medallions with Plum Sauce or a vegetarian option of

Polenta Vegetable Napolean and we‟ll finish with a Triple

Berry Ricotta Cake (menu subject to change). If that

doesn‟t tempt you to join us, the gardens and gift shop

surely will. The kitchen garden is full of herbs and edible

flowers that are the inspiration for the dishes served in the

restaurant along with garden themes such as butterfly,

silver, oregano, bird, healing and moonlight. Take in the

sweet smells of basil, the peppery flavor of nasturtiums or

the intoxicating aroma of English Lavender. The gift shop

is a cook‟s dream and a gardener‟s delight, full of unique

items that are constantly changing. There will be ample

time to tour the gardens and the gift shop.

ANYTHING GOES

OGUNQUIT PLAYHOUSE

Wednesday, June 22nd

Ogunquit Playhouse has another great lineup for the 2016

season and we‟re never disappointed with their choices.

We‟re on board for the splendid and saucy musical comedy

of Anything Goes, the winner of three 2011 Tony Awards

including Best Musical Revival. When S.S. American heads

out to sea, etiquette and convention get tossed out the port-

holes as three unlikely pairs set off on the course to true

love . . . proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help

from a tap-dancing crew of singing sailors, an exotic

disguise and some good old fashioned blackmail. Topping

off the fun is Cole Porter‟s delightful delicious, “De-Lovely”

first-class score that includes some of musical theatre‟s most

memorable standards, including I Get A Kick Out Of You,

You‟re The Top, and of course, Anything Goes. Don‟t let

this fun show set sail without you! We‟ll have lunch at a

local restaurant before the show.

Leave SS Center at 12:00pm and return approx. 5:30pm

Cost: $79.00

Includes: Transportation and Show (Lunch on your own)

lunch and this ultimate tribute show. Artists Joey Riedel

and Michael John are joining forces to create the „Face to

Face‟ show much like Elton and Billy would have done on

their tours together. The concert will feature each of them

performing a solo set and then the show will culminate with

a face to face set featuring both of them on pianos with hit

songs, costumes and an energetic performance. This show

has been nominated as one of the best tribute shows in

the country! Be sure to make your lunch selection when
