Progressive bike rampsProgressive Bike Ramps is a ramp design and manufacturing company, born from the joining of Progressive Trail Design and American Ramp Company. PBR combines the years of experience and innovation of its parent companies to construct the highest quality ramps, specifically designed for mountain biking. Typically a city has facilities for most sports, but often times mountain biking is left out. In the past, mountain bikers had to rely on their own skills in ramp and obstacle building, but not anymore. PBR products are a pre-fabricated line of ramps specifically designed for mountain biking. At PBR our ramps are a sustainable, virtually maintenance-free, product designed to enhance the skills of mountain bikers in any setting. At Progressive Bike Ramps we understand what riders want in a bike park because we dont just build the ramps, we also ride. PBR consists of a dedicated group of individuals from different walks of life who came together for one purpose: to advance the sport we love as well as improve our own bike skills.

PBR ramps are built to last. This is why we provide a 10 year limited warranty

    on our products.

Tamper Resistant Fasteners:The framework is put together with tamper resistant fasteners. All hardware is stainless steel, to ensure against corrosion.

Riding Surface:True dimension 2x6 eastern red cedar is our standard riding surface. It bolts from underneath eliminating fasteners from the riding surface. Composite upgrade is available with a bolt through pattern.

Powder Coat:All steel is powered coated to maximize the life of the steel. The powder coat comes standard in black, but colors can be customized as an upgrade.

Laser-cut Framework:Galvanneal steel is cut on our laser table to ensure the accuracy of every piece that we manufacture.

Spacing Tabs:Because we laser-cut our steel we are able to add board spacing tabs. This helps us to locate the proper spacing and install riding surface accurately and efficiently.

Our modular design allows you to customize your own feature. There are only a few pieces that make up our ladder bridges, and this gives you the opportunity to make your feature as long or short as you wantthe amount of combinations are virtually endless. We will work with you to make sure that the right feature is built for you. This same principle goes for our park features and pumptracks.

Trail features are purpose built features that add a degree of difficulty and fun to a trail. Sometimes these features are built to span areas, other times they exist purely as an alternate line to a trail.

PBR skills courses are unique because they do not require an existing trail system, elevation change, or even a substantial area of land. We believe that every sport should benefit from municipal parks and recreation, and endeavor to make that possible for mountain biking. Therefore, our skills courses are designed to go virtually anywhere.

Progressive Bike Ramps are made from galvanneal steel that is cut with our laser table, ensuring that every piece that leaves our factory is precise. Our products are not only modular, but also fully customizable. We have engineered each piece carefully so that you can have a multitude of ramp options while utilizing just a few pieces. We also offer a fastener free riding surface that can easily be replaced as time rolls on. Additionally, all of the cedar planks fasten from the underside so you never have to worry about a fastener working loose and puncturing a tire.

Our years of manufacturing experience, combined with the passion we have for mountain biking, allow us to be fully confident in our product. So confident that we stand behind it with a 10 year warranty. Contact us today to find out how easily a PBR skills course can become part of your parks and recreation facilities.

"I am so pleased with the project. Your guys, Gary and Kurt, really had their hands full with the landscape. They were very professional even under the adverse conditions. I cant thank them enough for keeping an upbeat attitude around the Boy Scouts father. This is the first piece for Warsaw and I cant wait to do more. I hope that those two will be available when we do our next phase with your company. Thanks again for helping us set the standard for our area (Missouri) of progressive thinking, and how parks will be shaped in the future." - Mac Vorce Warsaw Parks and Recreation Director, Warsaw MO

A Pumptrack is a progressive kind of structure that uses an up and down pumping motion to propel the bicycle forward instead of pedaling.

Pumptracks are a perfect structure for practicing balance, learning skills and improving confidence on the bike. They are safe and fun to ride for all ages and skill levels. Pumptracks are suitable for any size bicycle, skateboards, hbs scooters, rollerblades and quads.

They create a community environment by bridging the generation gap between parents, small children and adolescents. Our structures are modular, flexible and moveable to suit any type of terrain and land usage issues and can be made from various kinds of materials to suit the needs of the client and the surroundings.

The Lumberjack series has a substructure that is made from a marine grade lumber and is topped with our ultra grip composite surface. This surface has a texture to it that means that you can ride no matter what Mother Nature throws at you. Because of the modular design it can easily be rearranged or added to at anytime. This line is ideal for indoor settings, mobile setups, resorts, and bike shops. It is easily stored, setup, and transported.

    precast PumPtracks

Like the modular pumptracks our precast pumptracks are built in similar fashion except they are made in precision molds, with high strength concrete. This option allows the same great shape of our other pumptracks, but in a more permanent setting. This is ideal for bikes, scooters, and even skate boards.

Precast parks can be set on top of compacted earth, an old parking lot, old tennis court, or added to a skatepark. We also know that aesthetics are important to parks and recreation professionals, which is why we recommend berming, and landscaping around the turns and bumps. This makes a much more permanent install and a natural look that needs little to no maintenance.

Precast pumptracks are made with high strength precast concrete, in a factory controlled environment. This means that you get the strongest concrete possible, with a perfect shape and finish every time. Because of the design and construction methods we provide a 5-year warranty on all precast features.

Our greenway stations are purpose-built bike amenities designed with children in mind. They are meant to provide kids with an alternative form of recreation that challenges, builds skills, inspires confidence, fosters independence, and offers a whole lot of fun. The Greenway Stations are small areas, 2k-5k square feet; with a variety of different elevated riding features to learn or practice slow technical skills and balance skills. These skills are crucial to the sport of mountain biking and help to build confidence in a controlled environment. The Greenway Stations are designed to be added to greenway or gateway style hike and bike trails. These stations allow the whole family to get out and ride by offering something for everyone.

Our basic skills station incorporates a lit-tle of everything including Skinny Bridges, A-frames, and Rollers. Build your own berm to create a nice turn and line you up for the next features. Ride it once, twice, or for as long as you like. Time yourself and race your friends.
