    I. INTRODUCTION:

The Presence of Life in the past age is a significance of a mysterious ideas andsearching for the facts that will provide an answer to the tingling questions of many. This project illustrates the pre-historic living of the ancient creatures calledthe Hominids or in the other term the Cro-Magnon man . They lived about 8000 years ago. Early Civilizations of Man depends on what and wh ere theybelong in the nature. They search for various mysteries that make their livescomfortable. As the search continues, they found a very mystical element of thenature-the fire. Fire for them is an object of great mystery .Since no one beholds its creation. As it is, they treasure the fire just as a root of wealth in their tribe. They also believe that Fire symbolizes the power to rule, manipulate, a means of survival and a power to uphold the things. If one tribeholds a fire, it also holds a life. As the movie undergoes, several things come upas a result and these is the follow up of my project.

    II. Summary

It all starts in the cave of the Ulaam Tribe , a semi apelike pre-historic manswho holds the fire in the form of a small cage preserver which they used to makea big bonfire in their cave. In the scene they use the bonfire to cook their food,to heat themselves and to make their weapons out of woods. They also obtainedto preserve the fire in order to use it again. After that a group of Homo erectus

called Wagabu sneak in their caves and tries to sabotage them-as a result, afiery and bloody fight between two Hominids happened. Some surviving Ulaamfled from the Wagabu but a pack of wolves hunt them. The safe keeper of thepreserve fire also escaped from the last incidents, but unfortunately as the safekeeper of fire crossed the marsh of moist and wind, fire in the cage suddenlydries up, leaving them vulnerable to exposure and starvation. The elder of theTribe assigned three men (Naoh, Amoukar, Gaw) in search of the fire. As thethree man wander throughout the course of the world, they discover different kinds of ways and tribes. They encounter various mammals, including the extinct Mammoths and the fiery saber tooth lions.

After that, they enter in the field of the cannibalism tribe, called kzamm . They

fight but still the three men s of the ulaam tribe got the crown. Then, they savethe victims of the kzamm which later identify as one of the Ivaka tribe. Hername is Ika, an Ivakan prisoner of the kzamm followed the trio in gratitude andseeking protection. At first, amoukar tries to drive her off but they use her intaking advantage of gathering foods. Ika made a poultice, a soft moist mashused to treat painful and swollen part of the body.In one day, Ika recognizes that she is near her home. She tried to persuade theulaam men s but they never listened they just continued their journey far back

home. Ika, leaves them one morning, but Naoh is upset. At first, Naoh is teasedand experience humiliation from the ivakan tribe, but in the latter part, helearned the ways of these tribes like in making atlatls (a spear thrower) different

forms of arts and especially how to make their own fire. This phenomenonchanged Naoh mind.

In the climax of the movie, as the trio and the Ivakan girl on their way backhome, they saw the four hunters of the ulaam tribe led by Aghoo. The rival of Naoh, Aghoo fight because of Envy but still the trio wins.

At the end, the group demonstrates to their own tribe how to make fire out of sticks, dung and dry grasses. As the result the whole tribe triumphantly cheers

Ulaam and Kzamm tribe is more likely to be a homo Neanderthals nor a Homo

Habilis. Homo Neandertahlensis is a semi apelike man but a hominid withexperiences. They cope to learn the ways of their nature. In the movie, Quest forFire, they typically preserve the fire as a sacred relic from the nature. This quality

emphasizes their skill to adapt and learn its environment. They also use theirskills in combat battle. They use the bones of the animals, the fossil rocks andfire to threaten their enemy.

Ikavan tribe- a Homo sapiens hominid, usually they had the most adaptive andadvanced methods of living. The ink marking in their body, the weapons theyused (e.g. spear throwers, etc.) and even how to make their own fire out of wood, dry grasses and dung shows that these kind of tribe prove to be the most advanced and organized civilization in their times.

    V. R eacti on P aper Quest for Fire is a science mystery movie that allows you to view the past or the

pre-historic living in the four main groups of tribes namely, Ulaam, Wagabu,Kzamm, and Ivaka. This movie typically suits for the open minded persons that can fully understand its legitimate meaning and emphasize the hidden mystery of the era which is never been written in the History. This Movie also illustrates theliving civilization of the pre-historic age. It depicts the different role of eachHominid that existed million years ago.

This Movie shows the different life forms that lived many years ago, like sabertooth lions, polecats, different species of vultures, wooly mammoth, etc. It generates the idea of Biological possibility of the evolution of the early man-but it contradicts the teachings of the bible pertaining to the first man who is Adam, and we all know that Adam is created by God in His own image.

This movie for me is a certain kind of Movie that needs a lot of understandingsand perceptions in analyzing the events and the true reality because without thepower of understanding and a open mindedness, we cannot distinguish thefantasy to reality-mystery to truth. This movie, the Quest for fire is intended foreducation only, as our teacher said, we must stick to the true teachings theteachings of God.

They are the Homo erectus, Homo habilis, Homo Neanderthal and Homo Sapiens. This creature varies differently in each other, Homo Habilis and Neanderthalsintend to cope with their environments unlike the homo erectus, Ivakan tribepersuading the characteristics of the Homo sapiens is the most advanced thanany other groups.

They use the spear throwers as their weapons, primarily in the combat battles. They can also make their own fire. This tribe shows the most organizedcivilization.

I learned also the different kinds of extinct animals that lived a million years ago, just like the saber tooth and the mammoths.

I learned to open my mind in understanding to true essence and the meaningthat convey the story.
