- Small villages at boundaries of the project en near river ‘Eem’ like: - Eemnes - Eemdijk - Eembrugge - Bunschoten - Spakenburg - Hoogland - Huizen - Baarn

by the swirling sea) - near “waaien” very productive earth

Consolidation by land development plan: re-allotment based on a public plan with an agricultural claim (voting by land-owners)

- 97 % of total area Eemland is grassland, used for cows (meat- and milk-production)
- Bad situation: reallotment very necessary:A lot of owners have parcels on both sides of river Eem
- Farms near river Eem and near villagesalso INSIDE the villages

Ferry: important for owners; more times a day crossing the river with tractor, cows, milk etc.

- Saving the emptyness: a lot of grassland-birds
- Saving flora and fauna: - near the river “Eem” - near “Eemmeer” (Lake Eem => Southern Sea)

- In the past: hardly any recreation possibilities
- Because of land development: - sailing - fishing - wind-surfing - skating - cycling - small beach
