According to Mockabee, Architecture has to be greater than just architecture. It has to address social values, as well as technical andaesthetic values. On top of that, the one true gift that an architect has is his or her imagination. We take something ordinary andelevate it to something extraordinary.

about project m: Each summer a handful of recent college graduates gather to work on a socially conscious graphic design project. They livetogether in a farmhouse situated on two acres in Searsport, Maine and share production expenses. Instead of a VW van, the group gets aroundin a retired ambulance that functions as a kind of rolling design studio.

about project m: Its not structured on purpose, says Bielenberg, Some people flip out a little... Its not school; theres no curriculum. Itsreally their program, not mine. Instead of Bielenberg picking a subject in advance, participants are sometimes asked to develop a project

    collectively.
