The Project

Construction of a two level, one hundred and sixteen bed hospital.

Current Status

Works carried out this week (external):

Formwork construction to level two, Arcade and Ward link bridges.

External and internal blockwork walls to building four.

Structural steel erection to building one roof.

Internal works:

Erecting firewalls to building four.

Electrical cable trays to level one of building three.

Electrical rough in to level one of building one.

Wet and dry fire services to building four.

Mechanical duct work to level one of buildings one and two.

First fix hot and cold water pipe installation to level one of building three.

Fire hydrant ring main to level one of building four.

Plumbing stack work to level one of building three.

Medical gas pipe works to level one of building one.

NT Proform P/L –Carrying out formwork construction to level two, Arcade and Ward link bridges; and stripping out formwork to completed suspended slabs to buildings five and six.

Intract Australia – Erecting fire walls to building four.

Rob O’Keefe P/L – Carrying out blockwork to building four.

Contract Fire Services Pty Ltd – Wet and dry fire services to building four.

MMC – Structural steel erection to building one roof area.

Nilsens – Install cable trays to building three; and first fix electrical rough in to level one of building one.

Airducter – Mechanical ductwork to level one of buildings one and two; install medical gas pipes to level one of building one.

Man hours worked on site for the week 21 November 2016 to 25 November 2016 were 7727.

This week there was a total of 20 Indigenous employees working on the site.

OHS Incidents:

Nil.

Environmental Controls:

Head works road construction progressing and monitored.

Commencement of wet season environmental controls and storm water management.

Works for the forthcoming week:

Blockwork construction to building four by Rob O’Keefe.

Internal first fix works to buildings one, two, three and four by Project Plumbing, Intract Australia, Control Fire Services Pty Ltd, Nilsens and AirDucter.

Erection of roof structural steel by MMC.

Installation of vapour barriers, bulk insulation and roof cladding to buildings one and two by Halikos Roofing.
