abstract

During this age of time, most of us are used living surrounded by factory made tools. What wouldhappen if a modern bred person are suddenly thrust into the wolrd void of these tools? How would they

react? Man has since lost ouch with these instinct, relying on society more than nature.

target Audience

13 years and above

Goal

- to educate young generation about traditional knowledge in wilderness

survival skills.

- To preserve survival skills and traditional knowledge that had lost from ourancestors to younger generation- younger generations had been too depend on modern technologies (exp.GPS)

- can learn through experience without worrying the safety of themselves- can preserve the knowledge for the future.

- project is not new

- why? Because this project can be also referring to other rainforest existthroughout the Southeast Asia- Or Preserving only one tribe of indigenous people (Orang Asli)

Description

During the starting menu of this application,user can choose to understand the navigationof application through instructions menu.

Entering Level 1...

There will be a cinematic explaining the situationof getting lost in the forest and his/her partnerwas injured. After that user is free to exploreand a message will pop up to the screen orvoice telling the objective in this level. User

need to explore and search herbs in an areato make remedy for the wound. Player will begiven information on what kind of herb he/sheis searching for through a journal in theapplication. User can check the itemscollected in the inventory. After finished thetask, another message will pop up to informthe level had completed.

Description

Entering Level 2...

In the task user have to search for shelter. Userneed to explore the forest and find a safeplace to build a shelter by using traditionalknowledge of indigenous people. This level

will have some dangerous animals andinsects. User need to find a way to deal withsuch situation. After completing the shelter,there will be another pop up message toindicate the completion of the level.

Entering Level 3...

This time user need to hunt animals for food byusing the indigenous people's way. User willhave to make a blow pipe for hunting. Theapplication switch from 3rd person view to firstperson when hunting. After the hunt, user can

find the meat in inventory. Another task isgiven to user for searching drinkable water orcreate drinkable water from the river. Aftercomplete the task, another pop up messagecome out to tell user he/she completed thelevel...

Entering a credit scene to congratulate user forsurviving in the jungle for a night.
