SERVICES

1. INFRASTRUCTURE & INTERNET CONNECTION

PT RA services are delivered as a “bundle” consisting of

data services, Internet access, and full voice services for

local exchange, national direct dial and international direct

dial. Services to corporate customers are focused on

delivering System Integration on top of Local Area Networks

(LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) using a combination

of fiber optics and fixed wireless networks.

Internet access and voice services are also delivered over these networks as a

bundled service. The small office-home office (SOHO) and high-end residential

markets, on the other hand, are serviced through our Fiber Optics network’s and

point to multipoint fixed wireless systems. For the SOHO applications, Internet and

voice services are delivered as a bundle, while the primary product for the high-end

residential market will be the delivery of a bundled video, telephone and Internet

service.

To provide these services PT RA has designed four major product lines:

DATA OPTIC

FTTx stands for "Fiber To The Unit or Node or Home" and is a high-speed Internet

connection provided by a fiber-optic network directly to the user's home.

Maximum connection speed is 100Mbps (best effort), upstream and downstream.

We are using the term "FTTx" to cover all fiber-optic connection services offered

by PT RA and our partners. These services also include Closed Area-type fiber-

optic services where the fiber-optic cable is supplied to the area or building the

user lives in but may not extend directly into the user's in that building/office;

instead LAN cabling or telephone cabling inside the building may be used to supply

the service into the user's.

INFRASTRUCTURE

FIBER OPTICS BACKBONE

PT RA offers the possibility to reach jabodetabek and karawang area. The ultra

broadband backbone utilizes 2,500 km acces.

The availability of the backbone enable multi contents to be delivered to most people

in the country with the highest speed and reliability.

ADVANCED MONITORING AND DIAGNOSTICS

PT RA NOC relies on the most advanced in-house and external monitoring and

diagnostic tools, affording customers hassle-free maintenance. We continuously

monitor the entire internet and telephony network for optimum performance and

stability, offering our growing portfolio of customers the following services and

support :

- Interoperability solutions to enable communication between virtually any

gateway or device.

- Configuration help and troubleshooting internet and telephony device issues

- Trouble destinations support and improvement of route quality.

- Real-Time Response to Important Problems.

PT RA continuously monitors all system performace, as well as all A-Z termination

services. If you alert PT RA to a problem, you should receive an initial response

within 2 hours. We normally provide an update within 24 hours on weekdays and 48

hours if the issue is brought to our attention on Friday, Saturday or a holiday

weekend. Depending on the severity of a problem, PT RA may choose to escalate

response time and provide faster updates.
