A Protista is a kingdom filled with microscopic living things that have only one cell. These kind of creatures are called unicellular. That means one cell.

The first Protista were found a million years ago.Some Protista can give humans diseases such as malaria.Protista were first classified in 1830.

HOW DO PROTISTA’S EAT? WHAT DO THEY EAT?

Protista eat things such as algae, bacteria, plankton and other Protista. They use an eating technique calledfilter feeding.

HOW DO PROTISTA'S REPRODUCE?

Protista’s reproduce in 2 different ways.The first way is called conjugation. The other way is called binary fission.Conjugation requires 2 Protista's to mate.Binary fission is a Protista's splitting itself in two parts to reproduce.

Protista’s live in moist habitats like damp tree trunks and wet sidewalks.
