- during turbine operation (Station in stand-by), the steam pressurereducing valve and the spray water CV are closed by spring.The steam flow [kg/s] through the turbine should be measured to preadjust a valve stroke, according to the valve characteristic curvesIn the case of turbine trip, the valve opening will then follow the actual flow parameter.
- during continous operation, the steam pressure reducing valvescontrol parameters are deviations from:
- upstream pressure p1, and/or- downstream pressure p2
Spray water CV will be controlled by DCS-Systemduring stand-by operation, the valves has to be locked in its closed positions. (no spray water flow without steam flow through the station!)
control parameters are deviations from:- stroke of the steam pressure reducing CV, and- downstrem temperature t2 (behind desuperheater)
during continous operation, the control parameters are deviations from:- Downstrem temperature t2 (behind desuperheater)
the characteristic of both water and steam CV can be programmed in DCS-system.
