We operate customer service centers in Poulsbo and Bremerton. Six of our employees reside on Bainbridge Island. Electric system overview: The Bainbridge Island electric grid is made up of over 320 miles of transmission and distribution lines, including 165 miles of underground distribution circuits- that's over half the system! Electric system investments: PSE is committed to providing Bainbridge Island customers with safe, dependable service. Since 2010, we have invested more than $21 million in improving our electric infrastructure on Bainbridge Island and currently have over $7 million in planned future projects on the Island. For example, we are improving reliability on the Island through a series of transmission and distribution reliability projects, including: » Upgrading the existing transmission system: Agate Pass tower replacement project (completed 2014) Port Madison 115 kV transmission line upgrade project (completed 2015) Foss Corner-Port Madison 115 kV transmission line upgrade project (completed 2016) » Installing resilient tree wire: New Sweden Ave (completed 2013) Eagle Harbor Drive east of McDonald Ave NE (completed 2013) Fletcher Bay Rd (completed 2014) Baker Hill Rd (completed 2015) Manzanita Rd » Relocating overhead lines to underground: Eagle Harbor Dr NE and Bucklin Hill Rd NE (completed 2013) Moran Rd, and Lofgren Rd (completed 2010) Sportsmanclub Rd and Madison Ave, New UG feeder (completed 2011) Eagle Harbor Dr and Wyatt Way NW – (completed 2016) In 2014, PSE replaced the two Agate Pass transmission lattice towers with four new steel poles. The lattice towers were built in the 1960’s and had reached the end of their lifespan, needing to be replaced. Not only are the new poles stronger than the old lattice towers, separating the two lines improves system reliability because they're not on the same structure. (completed 2016)

At a dedication ceremony at Waterfront Park Community Center on April 22, 2015, Bainbridge Island received a $20K grant for a solar installation through their outstanding participation in the 2013 Green Power Challenge.

Green Power Program• Many of our customers are just like us, you value local, renewable energy sources. PSE provides electric customers a way to purchase

100% renewable power through our award winning Green Power Program. PSE's Green Power Program is consistently ranked one of thetop 10 programs in the country by the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Customers contribute a monthlyamount in addition to their energy bill, and PSE buys clean energy on your behalf from independent producers in our region. » Over 1,200 Bainbridge residents and businesses participate in PSE's Green Power Program. » City of Bainbridge Island purchases 100% Green Power, making it one of four Puget Sound-area cities to go completely green.

Energy Efficiency programs• PSE helps customers take simple steps every day to manage energy use and save money. Since 2010, PSE has invested nearly $2.8 million

in energy efficiency funding to help residents and businesses on Bainbridge Island save money on their bills and reduce their environmentalimpact. Through PSE’s energy efficiency programs, customers saved enough energy to power over 900 homes for one year.

• Over 190 Bainbridge Island customers participate in PSE's net metering program. Combined, the customers' solar installations total over 1.4megawatts of energy per year!

Community involvement• We're proud to be a member of the communities we serve. PSE has been a long-standing member of the Bainbridge Island Chamber

of Commerce, Bainbridge Island Downtown Association and Kitsap Economic Developement Alliance. Since 2007, PSE has contributedmore than $80,000 to community and economic development organizations on the Island. Bill payment assistance• Puget Sound Energy offers two programs to keep your bills low, and you warm in the winter. We partner with Kitsap Community Resources

of Kitsap County to distribute funds and to provide weatherization and other energy efficiency upgrades at no cost to eligible customers.• Over the last five years, Bainbridge Island customers have received over $150,000 in PSE Home Energy Lifeline Program support.
