＊Highlights:
The frangrance of baked longans, the opt imist ic
humanities, the colorful bags of granny’s, and the romantic
castle, Longyenlin Community are contained the attractions. To
have the specially baked longans, a large traditional brick stove
is continuously fired for three days.
Yutaohsiang Recreation Farm and Shiashuiku Farm are
worth visiting, as there are nautilus fossils, lotus pond,
abundant ferns, dragon flies, and butterflies.
The mountains here are completely unpolluted. Cycling
along the trails is relaxing and quiet. In such a natural tour,
visitors might give up the busy life in cities and stay here like
the grandparents in Longlin Study.

National Taiwan Craft Research and Development
Institute in Tsaotun exhibits the works of famous Taiwanese
craftsmen in five halls. Starting from Tsaotun Township, the
scenery along Chungtang Highway is tremendous. The grand
Ninety-nine Peaks is similar to the scenery in Gueilin. When
getting off Kuohsing Interchange of National Highway No. 6,
the 70m-high Highway on top is like a cloud highway in the sky.
Kuohsing Tienyuan Elementary School in Fuguei was
rebuilt after the 921 Earthquake. The red and grey roof and
stone floor connected with the community, it has become a
forest school. This tour would lead visitors to agricultural
ecology and traditional crafts.

The original burst spot of the 921 Earthquake was
Chiufenerhshan in Kuohsing Village. It now becomes a popular
touring spot. Kuoshing is also the largest Hakka settlement in
Nantou County where strawberries, coffee, and loquat are the
specialties. The little Meilin Hakka Museum exhibits abundant
collections.
The scenery along Peikang Stream is wonderful. Glutinous
Rice Bridge, with the best architecture characteristics, is now
the relics of Nantou County. Visit Chiufenerhshan to experience
the earthquake, relax in Atayal Resort and hot springs along
Nankang and Peikang Streams, enjoy the fun of strawberry-

the momentums in Nantou County. Tengyin Academy was the
first academy in Tsaotun that it keeps abundant collections and
historical relics. Langtien Academy has been reconstructed
after the 921 Earthquake with simple but modern colorful
carvings. Minghsin Academy was rebui l t with ancient
techniques that it still remains the ancient style.

As the original burst point of the 921 Earthquake, two
barrier lakes were formed in Chiufenerhshan in Kuohsing. A
921 momentum was built next to Chiutsai Stream, while
Chiufenerhshan Memorial Park still remains the relics of tilted
houses, one-line sky, bottomless hole, and couple stone.

Jiji Station attracts thousands of visitors every year. In addition
to the relics, walk up 688-step ladder up to Shihtoushan, the
tremendous scene of Chaoshui River and Jiji Township is
below the visitors. You may visit Minghsin Academy, Wucheng
Temple, and Endemic Species Research Institute for a nice trip
of humanities and science.
The most beautiful secret garden, Checheng, is the final

Wanghsiang Tribe in Hsinyi Village is a Bunun settlement,
where the aboriginal living style is completely remained. The
aboriginal atmosphere is presented on the statue outside the
houses. Group visitors can make a reservation for Pasibubut,
victory dance, and whipping tops, or experiencing building a
stone house model. Tangnan, Shuanglung, and Tili are also
Bunan tribes where the elders would play the harmonica to
build close relationship with visitors.
The beautiful scenery in Sun Moon Lake and the distinct

There are Atayal, Sediq, and Bunun tribes in Renai
Village. Following Provincial Highway No. 14 to Renchihkuan,
Monar-Dao Momentum is the representative of aboriginal
spirits. The skillful harmonica of Atayal is amazing; with the
dance to show the love, people would experience the romance.
Weave is a traditional skill for Atayal and Sediq women.
Tsunyang Tribe is the home of weave that many weave
workshops were established. Moreover, lather-carve and
flower-pressing also present the combination of traditional
crafts and modern design. On the way to Aowanda National
Forest Recreation Area, Sunglin Tribel in Chingai Tsun
remains Chuping Relics and Wuchieh Reservoir that it is a tour
