Puppy Dog HatThis precious puppy dog hat is perfectly

 adorable on your little one. Crochet it in the

colors shown, in feminine colors for little girls

or in any of the many colors available in this

 soft yarn.

Round 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2

sc; repeat from * around – 24 sc.

Round 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3

sc; repeat from * around – 30 sc.

Round 6: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 4

sc; repeat from * around; join with a slip st in

next sc – 36 sc. Fasten off B.

EYES (make 2)

With C, work same as Hat through Round 1;

 join with a slip in first hdc. Fasten off C.

NOSE

With C, work same as Eyepatch through

Round 1.

Round 2: *2 sc in next sc, (hdc, dc, hdc) in

next st; repeat from * twice; join with a slip in

first sc. Fasten off C.

EAR (make 2, one with A and one with B)

Make an adjustable ringRound 1: Ch 1, 4 sc in ring; do not join; draw

up end to tighten loop – 4 sc. Work in a spiral.

Place a marker in first st of round and move

marker up as work progresses.

Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around – 8 sc.

Round 3: *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc; repeat

from * around – 12 sc.

Round 4: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 2

sc; repeat from * around – 16 sc.

Round 5: *2 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 3

sc; repeat from * around – 20 sc.

With A , make an adjustable ring.

draw up end to tighten loop – 8 hdc. Work in a

Rounds 12-28: Sc in each sc around; join

with a slip st in next sc. Fasten off, leaving a

sewing length.

FINISHING

Using photo as a guide, sew one eye to

eyepatch. Sew eyepatch, remaining eye, and

Nose to hat. Flatten each ear and sew last

round of each ear closed. Fold tops of ears

and sew last round of ears to hat. Weave in

ends.
