Compact and Economical The Satcon® Weather Station is a compact and economical solution for observing atmospheric conditions at photovoltaic sites. It measures ambient air temperature, PV panel temperature, wind speed and direction, global irradiance, and is capable of measuring plane-of-array irradiance.
Accurate Sensor Capabilities Simple to install sensors attached to the back of the PV panel provide accurate panel temperatures, an important parameter for efficiency monitoring. A separate plane-of-array sensor is supplied with a mounting bracket to attach to the side of a PV panel. An irradiance sensor is mounted to the system on an extension bracket to provide global solar irradiance.
Quick and Easy Installation A compact and lightweight design allows for quick and easy installation. The Satcon Weather Station is supplied with a detachable mast section that can be bolted to an existing structure. A mono mount is available as an additional mounting option.
All electrical connections are made using screw terminals. Standard sensors are factory installed.
