    Title Project leader

    Reporting to CEO

    Pygargus is a leading Scandinavian consultancy company focused on providing high qualitydata for real world outcomes research (www.pygargus.se). With the unique softwarePygargus Customised eXtraction Program (Pygargus CXP), the company can extract and

    analyze large amounts of longitudinal data from electronic medical records. We support ourcustomers with well performed analyses of the real world data we capture. Sweden and theother Scandinavian countries offer unique opportunities for real world data studies.

    The current client base consists of the major pharmaceutical companies, health authoritiesand health care providers.

    Pygargus is currently expanding and is thus seeking new ambitious people to its Company.

    Introduction to role

    The current position will take an a multifaceted development role for Pygargus in its ambitionto build further on project leadership and engagement in large-scale Real World Evidenceprojects. Pygargus is looking for a person who is capable and motivated to represent andbuild the business around Real World Evidence.

    The candidate should have experience from the area of epidemiology, outcomes research,health economics or other types of clinical research, with hands-on experience from scientificproject work and project leadership. Furthermore, the candidate should have a solidcomprehension of the global life science industry, health care sector, health authorities andacademia.

    Pygargus is a growing Company and thus the current position may develop into a teamleadership role with the Company. The role will be based in Stockholm City.

    Duties and responsibility

    Project leadership and analysis

    - Initiate and present project proposals to clients in an attractive manner- Hands-on analytical work in the area of epidemiology, outcomes research and health

    economics

    - Lead projects throughout the whole project cycle including customer facing andmanagement of project stakeholder and sub-contractors.

    Marketing & Sales

    - Proactively engage in customer relations and foster these throughout projects thatyou are involved in

    - Promote Pygargus as a company within the life science field by publishing scientificresults, presenting at conferences and exhibits

    Stakeholder management

    - Establish close collaboration with top research groups in the field of Real WorldEvidence in Scandinavian and globally

    - Foster client relations with the global life science sector- Establish close collaboration with authorities, health care providers and academics in

    the field of Real World EvidenceOrganizational responsibility

    - Build up competence in the field of Real World Outcomes Research and projectleadership and capable to take on team responsibility in future with direct reports

    - Engage in the strategic discussion on analytical focus areas for Pygargus

    Personal profile

    Pygargus is a small and growing consultancy company. Therefore, there is focus on thepersonal profile for the present position, with a fit with the rest of the team and with theentrepreneurial atmosphere in the company.     Academic training and work experience

    - Basic training in the field of economics, epidemiology, health economics or healthoutcomes. Higher academic degree is a merit

    - Hands-on experience from clinical research. Experience from Real World OutcomesResearch is a merit.

    - Experience from life science industry, health care organization or health authorities isa merit
