CHAPTER I
Rights and Obligationsl
Art. r - There exist Shree Ravalnath Devasth.an (Adisthan)

The following temple is affiliated to the above Devalaya·-1) Shree Ravalnath Devasthrui Shiroda, Salvador-De.

Art. 2 - (a) The General Body of the DeVialaYa shall be {)ompos~<l of. the Mahajanst mention in the annexed list and thCise .. persons professing Hindu. religiOn who may in future 00 admitted as mahajans by the mana,gingCommittee of DevaIaYia irrespeetive. of cast class, sect or family group to which such persons may pelong on payment of such enrolment fee·· as may be . prescribed for the purpose by the General Body of the Dev3Jslthan which fee. in no case shall totally exceed Rs. ro1/- (Rupees one hundred one only).
. (b) Any person once enrolled as Mahajan shall enjoy eqUal rights, privilegelsl hounours and obligations alongwith all other mahajans unless he is prevented to enjoy the same in terms of these bye-IaWlSI or the laws in force.
Art. 3:-( a) The right of all Mahajans including of those who may be admitted as mahajans in terms proceeding article, is hereditary and perpetual in the· mesculine lineage and is transmitted from generation to generation by" consaguinity or by legal adoption. This right becomes . effective once a person becomes major age and is duly enrolled a:S! mahajan including those who may be admitted as mahajans in terms of proceeding article.
(b) The list of all the mahajans shall be properly maintained by the Managing Committee and a up to date copy of
. the same shall be displayed on the notice board of the Devalaya in the month of February-March every year.
Ar.t.4--(a} All those professing the Hindu religion irresrpoc~ ti~e of class caste, sect or family. group sllall be allowed aceor_ ding to usage and customs to render worship in the permises of the Devalaya and also to perform religious acts ,and to institute· festivities and make donations to the Devalaya.
(b) Such acts shall, however, in' no way entitle them to claim mahajanShip of the DeValaya. .
Art. 5 - Every mahajans shaUpay to the trea';;urer of the Devalaya a~~d ~nual subSCription. orsucn ,fee as may be preSCIibed, for ~e purpOse by .the General ,Body of the Mahajans of. t.lie. Devalaya. ..

Mahapuja and Drama
1·) Celebrated on Magh mass (6) Shashti of 'i1his utJsfav is celebrated by contributions of and other devotees. On this day the celebration be mahapuja, bhajan, Arti, thirtha-prasad', mananaj·· vedya and a;t night there would be auction of fruits etc." Dhuparathi and drama etc. Similarly, on next day at night auction of fruits and. drama.

3} Celebrated 'On Kartik mass (10) Dashmi shukla pukshya celebrated Deepostav by all the women the Village.
Tulsivivah (Tulsi-marriage)
4') .Celebrated on kartik mass (1:0) dllvddashi shukla Pakshya celebrat-e Tulsivivah (Tulsimarriage) in the said Devasthan every year.
Guruvar (Thursday)
5) Every thursday during night time bhajan and art! is being done by each mahajan as per each term.
This should be celebrated by collecting contributions fronl Mahajans and Devotees,
Art. Ll-The foHowing are the religious ceremonies which are. to be performed by the Mahajans/devotees and fees to be charged for the same are as follows, subject to such modifications as may be made by the General Body of the Devasthan from time to time.

b) B€sides the Pujari there. may be more remunerated staff if necessary, accorO!ing to the needs of service, it being left to the M~n::'ging Committee to engage such staff fl.xm~ the remuneration to be paid to them rrovIded there are sufficient funds to meet the expenditure which acts of the Managmg Committee should be later on confirmed by the general body of mahajans in the immediately next meeting.

CHAPTER-VI
Penal and other deposUions
The following are the penalties prescribed for ·those who contravene. the duties orr disobey tl1e orders of the general body or of the Managing Committee in relation to the temple administration.
1) FoOl' a simple contravention or disobedience a penalty of Rs. 1:1/- shall be imposed.
2) For a serious contravention or disobedience a penalty renging Rs .. !2!1/- toO 51/- be im_ posed on.
b) The Managing Committee or the general body shall 11I00t inflict any penalty on the mahajans or the employees of the Devalaya unless they are given oppovtmtities of being heard to ded:eiJ.d their ca'se:.
c) Against the penalties imposed by the Managing. Committee there shall be an appeal to the general body of the' De'Valaya.
Al't. 14 - The Administration of the Devalaya shall l3e regulated by these bye-lays and by the "Reg;1iamento dias Mazanias" in force as well as by any general or special laws and regulations applicable or which may be applicable to such institutions in .future.
Art. 1'5 - The above bye~laws shall come into force 5 days after the publicatton in the Official Gazette.
