For this project we developed a smartphoneapp that solves a unique problem that we haveidentied. Our goal was to come up with anapp that doesnt exist yet but that should. Tiswas a semester-long creative project. We hadto produce a substantial amount o work tocomplete this project so everything had to onthe pre determined schedule.

    Outcome:

    1. o develop an understanding o all theprinciples o interaction design.

    2. o give value (real and/or percieved) toan application based on usability, design, and composition.

    3. o comprehensively document andsummarize the research and creativeprocess we ollowed.

    Process steps:

Identiy an existing problem thatsmartphone technology could solve.

Research, conduct and document a visualsurvey o ot the app with photographs, screen grabs, scans, and/or sketching.Conduct inormal interviews with severalpeople to learn more.

Develop an appropriate and creativesolution that will solve this problem

Utilize the capabilities o smartphonetechnology and the internet

Utilize the capabilities o a tablettechnology and the internet

Utilize research and user testing techniquesto substantiate your solution

Make observations o their experience withthe product, and use their recommendationto urther rene the product.

Develop a user interace that ollows theprinciples o interaction and design

Finalize the product, with everythingworking, and test the nal product, withew other participants.

Develop an app icon or your solution

Create a presentation, and a processbook, that reects o all the work donethroughout the project, identies theproblem, and the user, and shows the resulto solved problem.

Develop a promotional website or the appto promote the app to the general public.
