institute and are skills which will open the doors to success.I need to hone my technical abilities with managerialacumen, which I feel will make me a complete person.Thats precisely why I wish to do an MBA.

I do believe that I am quite analytical,

because whenever I have been successful in

anything that I have ventured to do and thathas been possible only because I was

Would you like to work in a small or

a large company?I feel that the size of a company does not matter.

Any size will be fine because it is work which

actually matters. A small sized company can bring

to the focus any noteworthy contribution that Imake, and the learning process is also more

pronounced. The knowledge and experience that

one would get in a large company would be of a

different magnitude. Comparisons therefore, arereally not in place. I am willing to work anywhere

    and thats what really matters.

Do you prefer working with others

or yourself?I would say Id like to do a bit of both. When I saythat Id like to work as an individual, it meansthat as a leader Id like to first formulate my plansand put down my thoughts on paper. For this Id

like to be left alone without any disturbance. OnceIve done that, Id then get my team together andput forward all that I have planned and make itopen to discussion. I believe that many heads arealways better than one. This way the plan could

    33/47

What personal weakness has caused you the

greatest difficulty in school or on the job?

My greatest weakness had been delegation. I wouldtake it upon myself to do many small projectsthroughout my shift as a manager that could havebeen done by others in an attempt to improve my

workers' efficiency. Once I realized that I was doingmore work than the other assistant managers, andthey were achieving better results, I reevaluated whatI was doing. I quickly realized that if I assigned eachperson just one small project at the beginning of their

shift, clearly state expectations for the project, andthen follow up that everything would get done, and Icould manage much more efficiently and actuallyaccomplish much more.

make you memorize books, but someone whocan show you how to use bookish matter,

practically, and why, were the professors I

liked. I liked teachers who realized that
