• 7 out of 10 doing some kind of self tracking
• 60% of U.S. adults are tracking weight, diet or exercise
• 1/3 of adults are tracking some other indicator or symptom; 1/3 of caregivers are monitoring health indicators for loved ones
• 50% of all self-trackers are only tracking "in their heads"
• 1/5 are using technology
• 62% of adults with >2 chronic conditions is self-tracking
- 2/3 of those who track don't share- 1/3 are sharing: 50% w/ family 50% w/ caregiver
- 34% of self trackers affected health decision- 40% led to asking their doctor a new question- 46% changed overall approach to health
