The standard shell-&-tubewater-cooled condenserensures extremely low water side pressure dropsand requires minimal maintenance. Air-cooledversions are also available.

The heat exchanger can beeasily accessed, in the unlikely case of extraordinarymaintenance being required,by means of a central flange(QSR170-350).

The optional low pressuredrop pre-filter keeps the heat-exchanger clean and reducessystem maintenance require-ments. A flange offers quickaccess to the pre-filter itself.

QUASAR VESSEL DESIGN

The patented single vessel maximizessimplicity and performance, in a compact maintenance free design.

Twin compliant scroll compressors (standard upto 225 m3/min.)offer numerous real user benefits, including: significantly reduced power consumption; real 50% energy savings at partialload as one compressor switches off; longer compressor life; elimination of the need to pre-heat the dryer; no risk of compressordamage caused by liquid returns; full stand-by facility as one compressor still runs if the other shuts down.

The advanced microprocessor features an extensive digital dis-play offering detailed information.Full programmability, a maintenance friendly status report,service reminder warning, andeasy remote monitoring all renderthe dryer very easy to operate.

Compliant scroll compressors are nearindestructible, withstand liquid returnsand emit very little vibration. EASY TO IMPLEMENT & OPERATE

Quasar’s PED certification conforms tomost international norms, whilst a 65°Cair inlet temperature limit allows it to beinstalled virtually anywhere.An air-cooled option caters for locationswhere no cooling water is available.Quasar offers simple operation: There isno need to pre-heat scroll compressorequipped models, and the standardmicroprocessor is very simple to operate.
