    1. This notice may be cited as the Objections to Proposed Road Closure Notice (No 18) 2011.Application for road closure [s.100 of the Act]

    2. Applications have been made for the permanent closure of the roads mentioned in the Schedule.Objections

    3.(1) An objection (in writing) to a proposed road closure mentioned in the Schedule may be lodged with the Regional Service Director, Department of Environment and Resource Management,

    2. It is declared that the area of land comprised in the former Road Licence mentioned in the Schedule is reopened as road.

    Short title

    1. This notice may be cited as the Revocation of Taking of Land Notice (No. 2175) 2011.

    Land to be revoked (s. 17 of the Acquisition of Land Act 1967)

    2.     SUNSHINE COAST COUNCILADOPTION OF AMENDMENT TO THE NOOSA PLAN 2006

    Notice is given in accordance with the repealed IntegratedPlanning Act 1997 , that on 13 May 2011, the Sunshine CoastCouncil adopted Amendment No. 3 to The Noosa Plan 2006. Theadopted amendment will have effect on and from 23 May 2011.

    The purpose and general effect of the amendment is to changethe zoning of certain land known as part Lot 1 on plan SP 177650in Grasstree Court, Sunrise Beach to facilitate the developmentof aged care facilities by:

    • rezoning certain land currently zoned Community Servicesto the Open Space Conservation Zone; and

    • rezoning certain land in the Open Space ConservationZone to the Community Services zone.

    Part 7 – Eastern Beaches Locality Zone Map ZM4 is amended byaltering the Community Services and Open Space zones.

    SUNSHINE COAST COUNCILADOPTION OF AMENDMENTS TO MAROOCHY PLAN 2000

    Notice is given in accordance with the Sustainable Planning Act2009 (Section 117), that on 27 April 2011 the Sunshine CoastCouncil adopted Administrative amendments to Maroochy Plan2000. The adopted amendments will have effect on and from25 May 2011.

    The purpose and general effect of the administrative amendmentsis to clarify and correct the assessment requirements that apply tocertain uses within the recently adopted amendments toMaroochy Plan 2000, being Amendment No. 15/16 (commenced25 October 2010) and Maroochydore PAC Structure Planamendments (commenced 17 December 2010). In addition, theadministrative amendments clarify other provisions in the plan.The changes are of an administrative nature and are consistentwith the original intent of the above mentioned amendments.
