(a) appoints Mr Karl Morris as a trustee of the Board of Trustees ofthe State Public Sector Superannuation Scheme (“Board”) fromthe date of Gazettal to and including 30 November 2016; and

NOTICE (No 47) 2013Short title
1. This notice may be cited as the Objections to Proposed Road Closure Notice (No 47) 2013.Application for road closure [s.100 of the Act]
2. Applications have been made for the permanent closure of the roads mentioned in the Schedule.Objections
3.(1) An objection (in writing) to a proposed road closure mentioned in the Schedule may be lodged with the Regional Service Director, Department of Natural Resources and Mines, at the regional office for the region in which the road is situated.
(2) Latest day for lodgement of objections is 23 January 2014.
(3) Any objections received may be viewed by other partiesAny objections received may be viewed by other parties interested in the proposed road closure under the provisions of the Right to Information Act 2009. If you lodge an objection, please include in your objection letter whether you would like to be consulted if this issue becomes the subject of an access request under the Right to Information Act 2009.Plans
4. Inspection of the plans of the proposed road closures may be made at-
(a) the Department of Natural Resources and Mines Offices at Cairns; Innisfail and Gympie; and
(b) the Local Government Offices of Carpentaria Shire, Cassowary Coast Regional, Hinchinbrook Shire and Gympie Regional;
for a particular plan in that district or that local government area.

ADOPTION OF SIX TEMPORARY LOCAL PLANNING INSTRUMENTS
In accordance with the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 ,Sections 105-107, Western Downs Regional Council has adoptedthe following six (6) Temporary Local Planning Instruments (TLPIs):
01/2013: Dalby Town Planning Scheme 2007,02/2013: Chinchilla Shire Planning Scheme 2006,03/2013: Murilla Shire Planning Scheme 2006,04/2013: Tara Shire Planning Scheme 2006,05/2013: Wambo Shire Planning Scheme 2005,06/2013: Taroom Shire Planning Scheme 2006.
The adopted TLPIs will apply to the above specified PlanningSchemes. The purpose and general effect of the TLPIs is toensure that Non-resident Workforce Accommodation uses areproperly defined in the Planning Schemes and subject to morerobust assessment levels appropriate to the planning zone inwhich they are proposed to occur. The TLPIs also addresscarparking amenity matters associated with non-residentworkforce and residential activities.
The TLPIs commenced on 4 December 2013 and will expire on4 December 2014.

TO THE BOWEN SHIRE COUNCIL PLANNING SCHEME 2006
Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 thaton 11 December 2013; Whitsunday Regional Council adoptedTemporary Local Planning Instrument 02/2013 – Bowen Floodingand Storm Tide Regulation (TLPI 02/2013).
The purpose and general effect of TLPI 02/2013 is to provideprotection from, and regulation of, flooding and storm tide in thetownship of Bowen, through the use of updated hazard mappingand an associated code. To achieve this purpose, the TLPI will:
a) Introduce a new Natural Hazards Trigger Map and NaturalHazards Extent Maps to replace existing maps (PlanningScheme Map PSM2, Overlay Map 04, Overlay Map 5E andOverlay Map 5F) contained within the Bowen Shire CouncilPlanning Scheme 2006 ;
b) Introduce a new Natural Hazards (Flooding and Storm Tide)Code; and
c) Trigger assessment against the new code by partiallyreplacing specified parts of the Bowen Shire CouncilPlanning Scheme 2006 .
TLPI 02/2013 applies to the area to which Bowen Shire CouncilPlanning Scheme 2006 applies to and overrides the provisionsin the Bowen Shire Council Planning Scheme 2006 to the extentof matters outlined in Part 2(d) of TLPI 02/2013.
TLPI 02/2013 will have effect on 13 December 2013 and will ceaseto have effect on 12 December 2014 or when it is repealed inaccordance with the provisions of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009.

REMUNERATION SCHEDULE
As required by section 246 of the Regulation the Tribunal has prepared a remuneration schedule for the 2014-2015 financial year.The relevant remuneration levels have been calculated using a reference rate of $146,904, which is the 2012 determinationreference rate of $140,578 plus 4.5%.
Arrangements have been made for the publishing of the remuneration schedule in the Queensland Government Gazette and forthis Report to be printed and presented to the Minister for Local Government, Community Recovery and Resilience.
Previous arrangements requiring Councils to formally adopt the remuneration schedule no longer apply. Section 247 of theRegulation requires Councils to pay each member as per the schedule unless, by resolution within 90 days of the gazettal of theschedule, they decide to adopt a lesser amount.

Notes to the remuneration schedule
Note 1 The reference rate of $146,904 is a rate determined by the Tribunal and was originally related to, but not dependent on,the annual base salary payable to Members of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.
Note 2 The monetary amounts shown are per annum figures. If an elected representative only serves for part of a full year (thatis, I July to 30 June) they are only entitled to a pro-rata payment to reflect the portion of the year served.
Note 3 For Councillors in Category 3 Councils, a base payment of $23,872 is payable from 1 July 2014. A meeting fee of $1,989is payable for attendance at each of the mandated monthly meetings of Council subject to certification by the Mayor orChief Executive Officer of the Council. Mayors and Deputy Mayors in Category 3 receive the full remuneration.

Directive of the Minister Assisting the Premier: Remuneration for Certain Employees 1. Purpose:
To prescribe the remuneration for certain employees as defined in this directive.
2. Effective date:
Date of commencement.
3. Legislative provisions:
Section 54(1) of the Public Service Act 2008.
4. Application:
This directive applies to:
� those employees employed in the entities specified in Schedule 1 of this Directive and whose wages and conditions are specified in the following certified agreements as they applied at 1 December 2013:
- State Government Departments Certified Agreement 2009 (CA/2010/6); - DPI&F Fire Ant Control Centre Certified Agreement 2006 (CA/2007/40);- Crime and Misconduct Commission Certified Agreement 2009 (CA/2009/175);- Parliamentary Service Certified Agreement 2009 (CA/2009/120);- Tourism Queensland Employing Office Certified Agreement 2009 (CA/2009/95) and;
� who are employed in the employing entities listed in Schedule 1 as at, or after, date of gazettal of this Directive.

6. Increase to salary-based allowances
6.1. Employees who are covered by this directive are entitled to the following increases in salary-based allowances:
1 December 2013 2.2% 1 December 2014 2.2% 1 December 2015 2.2%
6.2. ‘Salary-based allowances’ are those allowances which are calculated on or derived from the salary rate payable to an employee under the State Government Departments Certified Agreement 2009.
6.3. No increases to any other allowances will be made under the provisions of this directive.
