The ScanSnap! scanner automatically recognizes these elements and processes them accordingly, preserving the look of the original document. The ScanSnap! scanner can easily convert multi-page documents containing both color and black and white elements, at the touch of a button.

In one step, the ScanSnap! fi-4110EOX2 digitizes both sides of a document in a single pass, in color, and at an amazing speed of up to 15 pages per minute for single-sided documents, and 30 images per minute for double-sided documents.

Adobe Acrobat PDF has become the standard for electronic document exchange. The ScanSnap! scanning solution helps organize, share, and secure scanned documents by automating the steps to create a PDF image file that can be viewed in Adobe Acrobat or the Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The ScanSnap! scanner provides the capability to automatically sense whether a page is blank and eliminate it from the scan: preserving document integrity and saving valuable storage space.

The ScanSnap! scanning solution includes CardMinder, an application designed to capture images and information contained on business cards. This information is fed directly into a database for future reference and can be linked with a popular PIM (Personal Information Manager) such as Outlook, ACT!, and Goldmine.

PDF image files created by the ScanSnap! scanner are visible as “thumbnails” within folders in the Microsoft Windows file system. These thumbnails can be viewed without requiring the associated application to be launched.
