population (41,8% boys,35,2% girls)• Many reorganizations in state institutions in year

Help line... • Established in 2000 in Riga addiction prevention

center • The aim: tobacco, alcohol, drugs and gambling

addiction• Telephone number placed on cigarette packages• The only help line in Latvia where addiction

specialists, psychologists and psychiatrists worked

• Under supervision Riga municipality welfare department since 2007

• Help line closed since 2009
