Weather Compensation Mixing Controllers

The 360e Controller is a Weather compensation unit with a single variable temperature system. It is supplied complete with outdoor, boiler flow and mixed flow sensors. The mixing method utilises valves with a ‘floating’ action.

The 374e Controller is a Weather compensation unit for three variable water temperature applications and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) control. It is supplied complete with outdoor, boiler flow & mix flow sensors.

The Controller 264e is a four Boiler sequence unit, with lead-lag rotation, weather compensator and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) control. Unit supplied complete with outdoor and boiler flow and return sensors.

The kanmor Outdoor Sensor 070e includes a 10 kΩ thermistor which provides an accurate measurement of the outdoor temperature. The 070e sensor is protected by a white U.V. resistant PVC plastic enclosure.

Provides accurate measure of pipe work temperature and includes 10kΩ thermistor. The kanmor Universal Sensor 071e has a zinc sleeve for fast response and a wide operating range. This sensor can be used in a multitude of applications. The 071e is supplied with 12” (300 mm) of two conductor wire. -500C – 125oC temperature range.

Provides accurate measure of floor temperature and includes 10kΩ thermistor. The kanmor Slab Sensor 079e has a stainless steel sleeve which is designed for use in concrete or grout. The 079e is supplied with 3m of cable.

The Three Outdoor Sensor Module 081 includes three 10 kΩ thermistors which provide an accurate measurement of the outdoor temperature. Each sensor has two separate terminals for wiring. The 081 is designed to be installed in an Outdoor Sensor 070 enclosure. This allows for four separate sensors to be combined into a single enclosure that is mounted on the exterior of the building.

The Universal Sensor 082 is a 10 kΩ temperature sensor designed to be strapped onto a pipe. It can be used with any Controller, but is most commonly used to monitor supply and return water temperatures. This product has a brass sleeve for fast response, a wide operating range, an indent to allow pipe strap on installation, and 2400mm of 2-conductor.

Mid-Position Plan Y-PlanA mid position valve gives independent control of heating and hot water. The 260e operates the mid position valve, boiler and pump when given a call for heat or hot water.

Weather Compensation with IndoorTemperature FeedbackThe 355x operates the mixing valve to provide a water temperature adjusted by weather compensation to the heating system. The indoor sensor measures the room temperature which in turn gives feedback to the 355x to adjust the water temperature even further.

Kanmor tN4 Plantroom Controls

The 345e provides power to the controller module and is supplied with an ‘easy to wire’ enclosure. The Power Manager 345e has an internal transformer that powers a Weather Compensation Module 422e (single) or Weather compensation Module 423e (double). A single tN4 bus input is available to allow Wiring Centres and in some cases, Mixing Expansion Modules, to be connected.

Single On/Off or modulating boiler control, weather compensator for two variable temperature systems and Domestic Hot Water control (DHW). The Weather Compensation Module 422e provides outdoor water temperature reset to a hydronic heating system based on the outside air temperature in order to maximise comfort and fuel efficiency. The 422e can operate a single on / off boiler or a single modulating boiler.

Two On/Off or modulating boiler controls, weather compensator for four variable temperature systems and DHW control. The Weather Compensation Module 423e provides outdoor water temperature reset to a hydronic heating system based on the outside air temperature in order to maximise comfort and fuel efficiency. The 423e can operate two on / off boilers or two modulating boilers.

Ten zone wiring centre complete with two ‘volt free’ relays. Unit operates with 24Vac components in conjunction with an in built 50VA transformer. Power supply to wiring centre 230Vac.

Kanmor tN4 Ancillaries

Adds mixing capabilities to weather compensation module 423e. Compatible with 3 & 4 port mixing valves from 15mm – 50mm and is supplied with a mix sensor. The Mixing Expansion Module 441e is designed to operate many common 3-way and 4-way brass mixing valves. The 441e provides 6 N•m of torque over a 90° rotation.

One stage heat/cool with program mable schedule. Second relay for hot tub, Domestic Hot Water (DHW) and pool applications. The Setpoint Control 162e is a single stage heat or cool setpoint control that can operate on an On / Off differential or can operate on Pulse Width Modulation. The control includes a second relay contact to operate a system pump. The control includes special modes for hot tub, indirect domestic hot water tank, radiant floor, and pool applications.

Switch has three inputs for ease of change between configurable ‘scenes’. The inputs can be used for scene signals from: remote telephone dial switches, building security systems and web controlled relays. The User Switch 480 has 3 programmable buttons that allow users to easily change the operating scene or allow users to enable / disable tN4 setpoint devices on a tN4 system.

Switch has three outputs for ease of change between configurable ‘scenes’. The outputs can be used for alarm signals enabling hot tubs and pools etc or sending ‘scene’ signals to third party devices. The User Switch 481e has 3 programmable buttons that allow users to easily change the operating scene or allow users to enable / disable tN4 setpoint controls on a tN4 system.

The tekmarNet®4 Timer 033e can be programmed to operate up to four events each day (Wake, Unoccupied, Occupied, and Sleep). When used in a tekmarNet®4 system it can operate up to four separate schedules for one system. It can also be used as a standalone Timer by utilising the relay contact (either normally closed or normally open).

Kanmor tN4 Ancillaries

The tN4 Crestron Internet Gateway 482e allows the user to monitor and adjust tN4 systems using Crestron home automation software. The tN4 Internet gateway utilises Crestron software (available as a download from the Crestron website) enabling compatibility, viewing and system change of Kanmor components as appropriate.

The tekmarNet® Internet Gateway 485 allows remote access to tekmarNet® compatible controls through a web browser, either over the Internet or through a local area network. Users can view and change settings for each thermostat, including: temperature, heat/cool/auto, fan operation, relative humidity, schedules, and the away scene.

tekmarNet® System ApplicationThe 423e operates two boilers to maintain a boiler water temperature at either a weather compensation, or DHW target. The 441e’s provide a

weather compensation target to their radiant under floor zones. Zoning is coordinated with tekmarNet® room controllers which communicate

back to the system control to give indoor temperature feedback. The entire system can be monitored and adjusted remotely over the internet

with the Gateway 483e.

The X-Pump Block combines a variable speed Controller (Setpoint or Weather Compensation) , Primary Circulating Pump, Secondary Circulating Pump and Plate Heat Exchanger within a single unit.

The ModvFresh 2 range of Instantaneous Hot Water Modules comprises two Models, 50Kw with flow up to 20 l/min and 70 Kw with flow up to 30 l/min. The units operate in conjunction with Buffer Tanks for an immediate source of Primary Hot Water at 60c. The units provide Domestic Hot Water into applications avoiding potential problems with legionella within storage systems. The small size of the Modules makes their application ideal for areas with restricted space.

The Modvlvs range of Instantaneous Hot Water Units are available with or without recycling control. The Units have an integrated electronic Hot Water Controller that can be set to maintain the desired secondary Hot Water Temperature by modulating the speed of the primary high efficiency Circulating Pump. The Controller provides suitable temperature displays for the convenience of the engineer and user alike.

Typical temperatures delivered from the unit is 45c with an inlet temperature of 10c. The delivered temperature is variable between 30c & 70c. Connections provided are ¾” BSP.

An Insulation Box is provided at 277mm x 417mm x 137mm with the special backplate enabling quick and easy installation.

The Modvlvs MCCS Compact Pump Unit is for Biomass Applications up to 100 Kw. The unit is designed to enable the application to reach its optimal temperature whilst maintaining the design return water temperature. The unit is available with standard three speed or high efficiency circulating Pump and includes a Thermostatic Cartridge set for either 45c, 55, 60c and 72c. The set incorporates Swing Check Valve allowing natural circulation, Isolating Ball Valves, Thermometers and Insulation Box.

Installation

The Anti Condensing recyling pump unit can be placed on either side of the heating source, following these directions:

On the return pipe to the boiler in mixing mode, following the flow directions shown on the body.

In verical position (horizontal circulating pump axis) to allow the hydraulic working of the natural circulation clapet valve.

In order to optimize the anti-condensing control, we recommend the installation of the component on the return pipe to the boiler.

Heat exchange pump unit for hydraulic installations with insulation box, made of hot forged brass.

By the means of this heat exchanger it is possible to separate hydraulically the primary circuit fed by wood pellet boiler etc. from the secondary circuit (for example underfloor heating systems) in installations where it is not advisable to utilise the same fluid in both primary and secondary circuits.

Plate heat exchanger made of stainless steel AISI 316. Prepared for the direct connection to the anti-condensing pump unit of the primary circuit and to the mixed pump unit of the secondary circuit by means of the 1” male connections. It is also possible to connect several fittings to the “T” connectors.

A 3 bar security unit with the pressure gauge 63mm (0-4 bar) and a draining valve are already provided in the “heating” circuit (secondary).
