December 1987 - Director of the Altar Valley Survey Project. Directed 4 months of survey in the Altar
Valley of
May 1988 Sonora, Mexico. Survey crew included 4 Mexican and 5 U.S. students. We recorded 98 sites.
1982 - 1987 Director of the Binghamton gravestone project. Directed long term research project studying the
relationship between mortuary art ideology, gender, race and class. Information on over 2,000
stones collected, over 18 students involved.

prehistoric Hohokam canals. Supervised seven workers in the field and a backhoe.

Summer 1975 Crew member on linear survey for Arizona Public Service Cholla to Saguaro transmission line
from Red Rock, Arizona to Joseph City, Arizona (Arizona State Museum).
1974 - 1975 Supervisory Archaeologist I, Arizona State Museum. Analyzed & prepared reports on the
Central Heights site, a small Salado pueblo near Globe, Arizona; and a historic ranch house just
south of Tucson, Arizona.

campsite north of Fort Collins, Colorado.
1972 - 1973 Analyzed ceramic material recovered by Dr. James Neely from the De Luran Plain in Iran to
establish a typology for Sassanian Period glazed ceramics on the Plain.
