Health Office

• Students regularly go to Nurse for a number of reasons from ice packs to physicals.

• The nurse communicates and collaborates with teachers, counselors and parents

• Parents need to communicate students’ needs with the nurse as appropriate

PLEASE Remember – Immunization Requirements for Students Entering Grade 6.

THE LUNCHROOM

• Students have the 1st week of school

to sit wherever they choose and then

seating is set

• Rotate order of tables to go through

lunch line and for dismissal

• We have high expectations for

behavior in and out of the cafeteria

and will continually educate students

Transportation

• School District Code of

Conduct applies to the bus

• Building administration is

notified of issues that may

arise by the transportation

office

• If there are specific bus

concerns, please contact the

Transportation Office and

school administrators

LOCKERS

• Each student is assigned a locker on an individual basis

• Students are discouraged from sharing combinations and presetting lockers

• Locker organization will be promoted with students

• There are “try-out” lockers set up in the main hall - students will be assigned their personal lockers when they return to school

• Parents should call the Attendance

Desk (638-6189) when a child is

going to miss school

• If a student will be missing two or

more days, assignments may be

requested by calling the Guidance

• Arrival after 7:35 AM, students are to

report to the Attendance Desk where

the student will be issued a pass to

class
