“BIRDS IN THE SKY”It begins with a dream that did not belong to me.Water. Birds. Sky. A presence. Who are you? Everything. Nothing. Water. Birds.”

Matilde - draws and Signe - writes —— the collaboration that unfolds will have you visu-ally entangled in a world constructed by these two. We very excited to show Aarhus.

A Portuguese and a Zim-bambwean artist tell a harsh but relevant political story.

Can of Worms narrates a story of a boy resistance against an iron fist dicta-torship and a delusional dictator, who seeks to sup-press an imaginary rebel-lion by a bumble bee.

It is based on the Zim-babwean writer and film co-director Tendai Tagari-ra’s poem of the same title, and seems to reflect personal memoirs (Ten-dai Tagarira is currently exiled in Denmark). The Portuguese Vitor Lopes is responsible for the ani-mation process. The two collaborators never met in person during the making of the film.

”Vibrations as a rule have length as well as width, they may last for fraction of a moment or the greater part of the age of this Universe.

They make different forms, figures and colors as they shoot forth, one vibration creating another; thus myriads arise out of one.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~- But I really need you now’ is created for the Mødestedet exhibi-tion space during A.W.A. The project is the result of the first time collaboration between Andréas Baader and DimsOs.

RE-CAPSo far , the project has manifested 8 collaborations, featuring more than 70 people involved. This all due to a simple equation ..

3 weeks collaboration x 3 weeks exhibition = 6 weeks of effort

WHAT´S DONE , WHAT´S COMINGMethodological Approach:

We initiated the project on two levels; (1) a prologue and (2) the full-fledged scale. Both has been initiated simultaneously and will have different time spans.Prologue:

The prologue is the full develop-ment of the experimental window exhibit in order to gain experi-ence in modifying and working with an urban (street level)gallery. So far we fitted a display (styled) window at the Kunstnervæksteder ,Møllegade 05. This action has

been motivated by a wish to re-claim Public Space from its sin-gular use as a parking space.Creating a smaller-scale prologue has kick started the collection of expertise within the field and to produce a proof-of-concept pro-totype to substantiate to partners, collaborators and sponsors what it is we’re getting At.Full-scale:

The full-scale version of Mod-estedet. Curated collaborations between the latest emerging talent to established artists. We will need

funding for constructing the project on this scale. Setting a program and hunting for a minimal hon-ourah to the artists. I approach is outlined in the FUTURE part of this re-cap document .Work and design dogmas:

The following principles has shape design, building, technology and functionality:• functional self-sustainability • Openness and transparency • Full documentation• Multi-functionality• Visually impressive

Partnerships:

To harness as much professional knowledge in the project as possi-ble we have partnered with rele-vant organizations and individuals who are knowledgable in related fields. These partners includes companies, construction collectives – as well as students-(volunteer basis). Organisations like, JUNGLE BYG , AAKB , Michael Rollof -Curator,LODRET -communication design .

FUTURE

MØDESTEDET As a Modular set-up other places and spaces in and around the region.

The benefits are just limitless, the visual represen-tation of an imagined placement of a Modular structure(housing) and showing off art of local and internatianal in a neighbourhood.

It is our wish to create a more collaborating culture around Mødestedet :satelite galleries across the region.

This project is based in substance and its commercial value will be utilised to sustain the project further.

Action to thoughts.

Future Collabs are lined up - 2014

CROWDSOURCE

RE-THINK Survival of Mødestedet - collaboration space.I believe the survival of this little gallery can be boosted, by involving the community around it, Thus i wanna lean on an idea by a friend and fellow artist ...

I want the Space to be adopted by Patrons, people that both supportt he gallery with attendance and support with finance.

CONTEXTPutting a price on artwork creates a great divide. The art becomes an object, and often in our commodity-based culture, sometimes the meaning or value becomes hidden behind a price tag. What I aim to do is use democracy in a new way. By finding a small number of people who want to become patrons for the arts, I can create a body of work that is owned by all the patrons. Each person who contributes will receive an original work of art for their collection but will also be contributors to a larger compila-tion, which will be published online for everyone to view for free. I’m looking to find 100 patrons who will contribute 100 Dkk each to raise 10,000. Dk

Page 9: Re-cap Mødestedet

ACTIONTRANSPARENCYI have to date scanned and made available the google docs and excell documents. Its aim to show money I recieved and spent from Re-think 2017 pulje. The expenditure was for the the project.

CURATIONLeaning on my past experience and a collaborative perspec-tive on curation, i have gathered these artist for the 2014 ses-sion of Mødestedet.

In the appendix you will find a list of resumefor each Artist.

Global trends and the advent of connectivity allows for both locals and internations to play with this offline space- yet still being connected.

CROWD FUNDING CAMPAIGN

I want to exercise the power to enlist local in-vovlement ,Thus I’m looking to find 100 pa-trons who will contribute 100 Dkk each to raise 10,000. Dk

Utilising a local platform called BOOOMERANG(crowdfunding management system .

This is best realised withthe aid of Video.wish leads me to the next element in the time line of the project

VIDEO Production

Collaboration with young video maker , We intend to narrate Mødestedet´s intentions, and invite help from the local community.
