RE-SHOOTSMy initial rough cut of ‘Marie’ was just under 2 minutes. However, I felt that the storyline wasn’t clear enough.The feedback I received proved that it wasn’t very clear who Marie and Lilly are running from, if from anyone at all. Therefore, I went back to the location and shot some POV shots from the antagonist’s point of view, as if they were looking for and chasing Marie and Lilly. I also used these shots to make my opening sequence longer so that I could overlay the subtitles on the clips instead of a black screen. I received a few comments about the black screens making it look amateurish and as I wanted to make my opening sequence look as professional as possible, I wanted to change this.
