• We can tailor our apprenticeship training programmes
to fit your exact business needs
• We help to recruit enthusiastic and capable
apprentices for your company
• We offer individual support and mentoring to ensure
that apprentices reach their full potential
Apprenticeships are available to businesses
of all sizes and sectors in England, and can
last anything from 12 months to 4 years.
They are linked to job roles or occupations – 1,500 of
them across 170 industries, so we make sure that every
apprenticeship is relevant and appropriate both for the
apprentice and the business.
37reaseheath.ac.uk 01270 613221
“ Apprenticeships work well for us. They
attract committed young people who are
keen to learn ‘on-the-job’ and who quickly
become key members of our team. The
qualification is well respected by employers
because they know that apprentices
have proven, practical skills as well as
understanding the theory of their subject.”
Craig Gilholm

FUNDINGAVAILABLE
Depending on the age of the apprentice at the start
of the apprenticeship programme an employer
contribution may be applicable. The contribution
cost will vary depending on the sector area.
• 16–18 year old apprentices are fully funded – 100% of
the cost of apprenticeship training is already paid for.
• 19+ apprentices are co-funded – a contribution towards
the cost of training is required and will be confirmed by
Reaseheath College.
• 24+ fee will be agreed by Reaseheath College.
39reaseheath.ac.uk 01270 613221
The grant aims to support businesses who would not
otherwise be in a position to recruit individuals aged 16 to 24
into employment through the apprenticeship programme.
An employer, working with an approved government-funded
training organisation, can receive up to five grants in total,
each grant is for £1,500. All we ask is that an apprentice has
not started with you in the last year.
Businesses that have received the grant have used it for
equipment, accommodation and additional specialist training.
Employer AGE Grant
You may be eligible for an AGE grant if:
• You’re a small (those with fewer than 50 staff) sized employer.
• Your apprentice is aged 16 to 24.
• You have not employed an apprentice in the last 12 months.
