Many have awakened to the power ofintention, the “secret” to manifestingtheir desires. There are books,

websites, and DVDs devoted entirely to thesubject. Many people around the world nowunderstand, to some extent, that they havethe power to co-create their reality.However, there is something more, calledReconnective Healing, that can enhance theco-creation process and provide gifts thatextend well beyond intention.

Years ago when I was a young, physicallyfit vegetarian, I faced the early stages oflymphoma. Without medical treatment Ihealed myself of this cancer. I co-created myway to wellness by using intention —visualization and affirmations — whileclearing out emotional issues that wereobstacles to healing. I followed my innerguidance along the way. This processrequired a lot of research, time, effort andfocus over the course of the two years it tookfor my symptoms to resolve. My path towellness was an illuminating journey fromwhich I learned much about the power ofintention and the nature of healing.

Since healing from cancer I developed apassion for learning more about healing,which led me to explore energy healing. Thisjourney eventually led me to learnReconnective Healing.

Reconnective Healing originated with achiropractor by the name of Dr. Eric Pearl. In1993 after a strange series of events,suddenly many of Dr. Pearl’s patients couldfeel his hands before he touched them, andthey began healing from conditions such ascancer, AIDS-related illnesses andfibromyalgia. Eventually Dr. Pearl recognizedthat these healing frequencies could beshared and taught to others so that they,too, could facilitate healings. It is so simpleto learn; after a weekend seminar,participants have all the tools they need tobecome master healers in their own right.

Reconnective Healing has been shown tobe new, very real, and different from energyhealing. The philosophy and approach tofacilitating healings differs dramatically fromenergy healing techniques. When apractitioner facilitates a healing session,

he/sheneither directsthe healingfrequenciesnor has anyspecific intentfor the client.Instead, thepractitioner lets go ofattachment to aparticular outcome, andtrusts that the wisdom of theUniverse will choose theappropriate healing for that client. In otherwords, the practitioner focuses his/herattention on the process, and leaves theintention to the Divine.

When using conscious intention tomanifest, belief is essential to co-creatingthe desired outcome. But interestingly, withReconnective Healing a client does not needto believe in the work to receive a healing.The first significant physical healing that Ifacilitated was on a man who was draggedin by his wife for what he considered to be“woo woo” work. He didn’t believe that thesessions could affect his advanced illness,yet he received the relief that he sodesperately wanted anyway. Aspractitioners, we see this happen regularly.It’s as though the Universe has lovinglychosen a gift for the client even though theclient had not accepted the possibility ofreceiving it in that manner.

During a session, is it important for theclient to hold an intention? Well actually, no.The Universe already knows the details ofthat person’s life, and knows why he or she isthere. If the client has too much attachment,it can actually get in the way of the healing.Reconnective Healing seems to removeobstacles to healing so that a person cancome back into balance physically,emotionally, mentally and spiritually — inwhatever way the Universe deemsappropriate. Whether or not a person haseffectively co-created his or her intent, it is asthough these frequencies know how tovibrationally open a person’s arms so thatthey have an opportunity to embrace whatthey desire.

Interestingly, the Universe may choosesomething totally unexpected for the

client. There are times when aperson comes in hoping to

relieve one problem onlyto be surprised by

receiving relief fromanother problem

that they hadn’teven intended to“work on.” Often itis something thathas been chronicthat they hadjust learned tolive with overthe years. Also,people

sometimesreceive sudden

shifts incircumstances that

totally surprise them— a new job, meeting

the love of their life whenthey had given up trying, and

so forth. As Dr. Pearl, author of TheReconnection: Heal Others, Heal Yourself,

says, “If you are lucky …If you’re reallylucky....”

Reconnective Healing frequencies canalso be used to facilitate a process called TheReconnection. Through this process, thesehealing frequencies are used to overlay anew meridian system which extends beyondthe body, connecting the person to theenergy system of the earth and the greaterUniverse. This process is about reconnectinga person more fully to Source, andconnecting him or her with their purposeand next stage of evolution. It is likeupgrading our “hardware” for the purpose ofdownloading the latest and greatest“software.” When we are connected topurpose, it fuels the co-creation process,helping us to manifest more easily. Andwhen we are better connected to Source, wetend to more readily receive Divine guidance,which is an essential part of the co-creationprocess. By becoming aware of this innerradar, we in turn can take action that can becritical to the unfolding of our desires.
