CAPITAL GRANT

We are so grateful to have received aSMAF capital grant enabling us to

move into a larger premises for our

Cardiff recovery centre, just around the

corner from where we are now.

We will be moving in the New Year

and will let you know our new address

and contact details in January. The

grant also brought greater security to

our Vale recovery centre in Barry.

Come and visit us anytime and we will

also be having a welcome launch in

the next few months

Our partnership with St

Johns is invaluable to us

and we are looking forward

to extending the activities

we undertake in the church.

LLOYDS COMMUNITY FUND

With grateful thanks to both Lloyds bank and all our

public voters we received a 3000 grant and were

presented with a big cheque by the lovely Sian from

Lloyds Canton branch.

This money will be put towards equipping the new

recovery centres and will have a lasting legacy for all

our members, volunteers and staff. Well done to

everyone involved, particularly Denise, Susie, Lynda and

Andrew

GARETH DAVIES ONE YEAR CHALLENGE

We cant believe its been a whole year! Massive congratulations

and thanks to Gareth who has fundraised for RC and Keep Wales

Tidy for the last year, completing personal challenges and abstaining

from alcohol. He is now joining the trustee board so his involvement

with RC will continue!

ASFA and CARDUF meetings are held

every month at The Wallich Centre on

NU HI NOTES

Cardiff and Vale Recovery Choir at NU HI has

changed its venue. The choir now meets on

Tuesdays, 6-8pm at the Rebecca Suite at

Whitchurch Hospital.
