The Jordan Brand Classic is an annual showcase of the top high school basketball players in the country, throughout the New York City region and internationally. As one of the marquee high-school All-Star games of the year, the Jordan Brand Classic attracts some of the best talent in the country. Past participants include Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Chris Paul and Amar'e Stoudemire. Sports PT of NY has been named the Official Physical Therapy Provider for the Michael Jordan All-American Classic for the fourth year in a row. We provide athletic training coverage, physical therapy as needed and coordinate the medical coverage to ensure the safety and well being of all the athletes and participants. We have been able to keep that high standard of care and supervision of future NBA superstars with the help of top notch specialists in New York City and Brooklyn.

For this years event we are fortunate to have the following providers working with us: Laith Jazrawi, MD— Dr. Jazrawi has served as team physician for the Brooklyn Cyclones and consultant for the World Wrestling Entertainment organization. He is also the Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine NYU HJD. Dennis Cardone, DO— Dr. Cardone's practice includes sports medicine and non-operative orthopaedics with a special interest in treating young athletes and athletes with special needs. His prac-tice is open to patients of all ages. Jaspreet Sekhon, MD— Dr. Sekhon is a prominent fixture in the sports medicine arena and has been an avid supporter of young athletes, both professional and amateur. Dr. Sekhon is an ortho-pedic surgeon with Beth Israel Medical Center and Kings Highway Orthopedic Associates. Andrew Labbate, MSPT, ATC—Andrew is a physical therapist, certified athletic trainer and assistant facility manager for Sports PT on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. Andrew was the head athletic trainer for the NY Titans lacrosse team and the Jordan Brand Classic athletic trainer for the last 3 years. Benjamin Black, MBA, ATC— Ben spent over eight years in Chicago working with a large outpatient physical therapy practice as Regional Athletic Training Manager. Benjamin gained experi-ence in professional and international sports as an Athletic Trainer in the NFL, NBA, and as Assistant Director of Sports Medicine for the United States Soccer Federation. Currently, he is Sports Medi-cine Administrator at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Depart-ment of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Medicine.
