YouSwoop Internships: Portal for Experience

We’re an impassioned, energetic, dedicated and fun group committed to creating awesome experiences for our Swoopers. We love what we do—we work hard each day to partner with amazing local businesses so that we can create incredible experiences to introduce to our rapidly growing consumer base. We believe in empowering the individual – from the individual consumer, individual business, and, of course, each of our Swoopees who arrive at our office with superior attitude and conviction. Summer & Fall of 2012 will be an exhilarating time of growth at YouSwoop. Therefore, we are going to be hiring an exciting number of “Swoopterns” to drive more growth, increase awareness, refine our branding, and really be influential in the next stage of our success. Our programs are a way to gain real-life experiences that will lead to enhancement of communication and leadership skills, creativity, decision making capabilities. Swoopterns also enjoy a great deal of ownership and independence with their day to day functions. YouSwoop’s internship program is paid and you can expect to see your compensation reflect the amount of hard work you put in.

Requirements:- You are in college - You are competitive, goal oriented, and never settle for 2nd best.- You’re highly organized & detail oriented- Excel doesn’t give you nightmares.- Like any good silver, you are fully polished and your communication skills exude confidence and

intelligence. - Cold-calling doesn’t give you cold-sweats. - You tend to get things done your way and don’t take “no” for an answer. - Your handshake is firm, your smile is bright and your batteries never have to be recharged.- You are fun to work with. You maintain composure under pressure, keep a good sense of

humor, and contribute to a lively team environment. - You have a large network and knowledge of what goes on in your community.- You are already a Swooper and have insight into the daily deal industry.

Recruiting Intern:Working with the HR & Recruiting Manager, the Recruiting Swooptern will directly impact the culture of YouSwoop by:

Actively sourcing for top talent to join the YouSwoop team through database mining, email campaigns, and cold-calling

Filter in-bound resumes, qualifying prospective candidates Conduct initial phone screens with potential Swoopees, gathering essential first-round

candidacy information Develop YouSwoop’s career presence on social media and internal website through creative
