TECH BYTESAchieving your goals isn’t always as easy as it seems, but Google wants to help with that. In the most recent Google Calendar update, it added a new feature called Goals, which exists alongside events and reminders.

Choose an area in which you want to improve or an activity you wish to schedule more time for, choose how often you want to do said activity, and select the best time of day for the activity -- morning, afternoon or evening.

Google will take care of the rest. It will adaptively schedule your goals in the available free time in your calendar.

For instructions on setting up Goals in your Google Calendar, visit http://www.cnet.com/how-to/use-google-calendar-goals-to-make-time-for-what-matters/

Strength of the Month: ConnectednessPeople who are especially talented in the Connectedness theme have faith in the links between all things. They believe there are few coincidences and that almost every event has a reason.

The United Way Student Leaders group, led by students Nathaniel Miranda and Ursula Abdala, hope that you will take part in our annual Bake Sale. We are calling on all col-lege faculty and staff that enjoy baking and want to support our cause of assisting local charities. 100% of monies earned or products purchased through this bake sale, our 5K “Run for Shelter” and other group activities go directly to the people that need it. The United Way Bake Sale will be at the JCC Student Center on April 27 from noon - 4 p.m. Any delicious baked goods not sold will be sent to HCC for the Rebel Rescue Pantry. Anyone wanting to donate baked goods for the sale may contact Drew Proctor.
