We would like to welcome you to our 7th annual bull sale. On offer this year are another outstanding set of tan and white

yearling Charolais bulls. So whether you have black, red, tan, orwhite cows, if you use one of our bulls your cows will produce thesilver or tan calves that feedlot buyers and were paying a premiumfor last fall.

Charolais cross calves are still hard to beat. We know this is afact in talking to our customers in the fall and over the winter so far.When our customers sold their calves in the fall and even early in2016, they were getting top dollars for their calves.

We really believe in the silver market. So much so that westarted to switch our commercial herd over to black cows. By theend of 2016 our commercial herd will be all black.

New this year, are sons from our Nothern Star and Dutton herdbulls. There are not a lot of their bulls in this year catalogue be-cause we purchased them in early April of 2014 and were not ableto get them across the border until the end April.

If you would like to view our bulls before sale day we will beholding open house at the farm on March 5st from 1 to 5pm. Ifthat date doesn’t work for you please feel free to give Greg or my-self a call. We would be more than happy to show you these greatbulls.

Delivery:We will deliver your bulls for free within a 300km radius ofDidsbury. If you chose to send your bulls back to the farmthey must be insured. After May 1st we will charge you$3.00 a day per bull to keep and feed them. We willwaive these charges if you pick your bull up at the farm byJune 1st.

Breeder Guarantee:All bulls will be semen tested prior to the sale.

All monies are in Canadian funds.Bidding: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. No by-bidding willbe permitted. In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between theparties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person fromwhom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision on alldisputes will be final.Announcements: All announcements made from the auction block willtake precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are there-fore cautioned to pay close attention to any such announcements.Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon assold.Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by theCanadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferredwill be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been madeunless stated that there is no paper.Breeder’s Guarantee: Should any bull fourteen months of age and overfail to prove a breeder after being used on females known to be breeds, thematter shall be reported in writing to the seller within six months followingthe date of purchase or six months after the bull has reached the age of four-teen months of age. The seller will then have the right and privilege of sixmonths to prove the bull a breeder. No guarantee is given that semen col-lected from the bull will freeze. If multiple bulls are used in common pasture,no further guarantee than the semen test will apply.

The seller is not responsible for damage caused by foreign bodies after theanimal has been sold nor for sickness not apparent at sale time. In no eventshall the seller be responsible for more than the purchase price.Exception Guarantee: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hor-monal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, this guarantee shallbe null and void.Settlement: Transportation charges on animals returned to the seller are forthe account of the buyer. No incident expenses such as feed, care, interest,veterinary charges, etc. will be charged by either party when making settle-ment. If the seller is successful in proving the animal to be a breeder, thensaid animal will be reclaimed by the buyer at his expense.
