AUTO DOOR LOCKS Program how and when the vehicle doors and the tailgate automatically lockand unlock.

Press either Info (�/�) button to toggle to the “Keyless Memory Settings” displayon the MID, then press SEL/RESET to activate the menu.

1.Select “CHANGE SETTING.”

2.Select “DOOR/WINDOW SETUP.”

3.Select “AUTO DOOR UNLOCK.”

4.Select “SHIFT TO P.”

5.Select “ALL DOORS.”

DRIVING POSITION MEMORY SYSTEM (DPMS)

Store a driver’s seat and mirror position into memory for each keyless remote.

Programming DPMS

Note:A stored memory position is linked to the corresponding keyless remote (1 or 2).Each item begins to adjust when you unlock the driver’s door with the remote and enterthe vehicle.

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).Shift into Park (P).

2. Adjust the seat and outside mirrorsto your preferred settings.

3. Press SET. You will hear a beep.

4. Press the memory buttoncorresponding to the remote(1 or 2) you are using. You willhear two beeps.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures.

Each tire valve stem containsa TPMS sensor.

When the tire pressure dropssignificantly below recommendedlevels, the low tire pressureindicator comes on and a messageappears on the MID.

1.Visually inspect the tires fordamage.

2. Use a tire air pressure gauge tocheck which tire(s) have lowpressure.

3. Inflate the tire(s), if necessary,to the recommended pressureslisted on the label on thedriver’s doorjamb.

How It Works

• When you shift into Reverse (R), a real-time imageof the area behind your vehicle is shown in thenavigation display. • Yellow parking guide lines also appear to help youjudge distance.• The rearview display turns off when you shift out ofReverse.

For added convenience, the area behind your vehicle is displayed to help you navigatewhile backing up.

REVERSE T ILT DOOR MIRRORS

When you shift into Reverse (R), you can tilt either outside door mirror down slightlyto improve your view as you parallel park. Shifting out of Reverse returns the tiltedmirror to its original position.

How It Works

• To tilt the driver’s doormirror, move themirror selector switchto the left (L) position.

• To tilt the passenger’sside door mirror, movethe mirror selectorswitch to the right (R)position.

• To turn the feature off,move the switch to themiddle position.

• To hear a list of available commands at any time, press and release the Talkbutton, then say “Help.”

• When using the Talk button, wait for a beep, then give a command.

• When the Talk button is pressed, all available voice commands are highlighted inblue.

• Speak in a clear, natural voice.

• Reduce all background noise.

• Adjust the dashboard and side vents away from the microphone in the ceiling.

• Close the windows.

NAVIGAT ION Real-time navigation system uses GPS and a map database to show your currentlocation and help guide you to a desired destination.

Entering a Destination Using Voice CommandsSet a destination using a street address. For other destination options, see yourNavigation Manual.


1. Say “Display menu.”Say “Address.”

2. Say “Street,” then say the streetname on the next screen. Donot include the direction (N, S, E,W) or type (St., Ave., Blvd., etc.).

3. A list of street names appears.Say the number next to thestreet you want.

4. Say the entire street addressnumber. For example, “1-2-3-4.” Ifnecessary, say “OK” to proceed.

5. If the street address is in morethan one city, a list of city namesappears. Say the number next tothe city you want to select.

6. The system displays the“Calculate route to” screen. Say“OK” to set the route.

Find a nearby point of interest, such as a gas station, movie theater, restaurant, etc.


1. From the map screen, say “Findnearest ATM.”

2. A list of the nearest ATMs inyour area is displayed byshortest distance to destination.

3. Say the number next to thedestination you want to select.

Provides continuously updated info, including traffic speed, incidents, andconstruction in major metro areas. Works in cities where a clear FM traffic signalis available.

Use this pairing method when no phone has ever been paired to the system. Youcan pair your Bluetooth-compatible phone only when the vehicle is stopped.

REAR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (RES)

With the rear entertainment system and headphones, rear passengers can enjoy adifferent entertainment source than the front seat occupants.

Operating the RES from the Front

1. Press REAR POWER. Rearpassengers will hear audio throughthe headphones.

2. Press REAR SOURCE. Select anentertainment source for the rearpassengers.

3. Press REAR SOURCE again to returnto the front audio controls.

3. Press the (�) (�) (�) (�) buttonsto navigate the menu options. PressENTER to select an option.

2. Press DVD/AUX, CD/CDL, XM, orFM/AM.

4. The rear control panel can be detachedand used as a remote control. PressRELEASE to remove it.

The HomeLink Universal Transceiver can be programmed to operate up to threeremote-controlled devices around your home, such as garage doors, lighting, or homesecurity systems.

Press and hold the button on the remote and the HomeLink button at the same time. Then, while continuing to hold the HomeLink button, press and release the button on the remote every 2 seconds.Does the LED blink at a faster rate within 20 seconds?

PARKING SENSOR SYSTEM

Warns you of the proximity between your vehicle and nearby surrounding objectswhen parking or backing up.

How It Works

When the system senses an object, an indicator appears on the MID and center displayscreen and a beep sounds. As you get closer to the object, the beep rate increases.

SAFETY REMINDER

Your vehicle is equipped with airbags. Airbags do not replace seat belts; they add tothe protection offered by seat belts. Airbags can help protect you in some types ofcollisions, but they do not provide protection in all collisions.

Always make sure you and your passengers wear seat belts, and that young childrenare properly secured in a child seat or booster in the rear seat. Never place an infantseat in the front passenger’s seat as the force of a deploying airbag can seriouslyinjure an infant.

FUEL RECOMMENDAT ION

• Only use unleaded gasoline of 87 octane or higher. • Some gasoline in North America contains MMT, a manganese-based fuel additive.Prolonged and consistent use of gasoline containing MMT can deteriorate yourvehicle’s performance, fuel economy, and the emission control system. Always useMMT-free gasoline if available. Failures caused by use of gasoline containing MMTmay not be covered under warranty.• “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” meets a new gasoline standard jointly establishedby leading automotive manufacturers to meet the needs of today’s advancedengines. In most cases, qualifying gasoline retailers will identify their gasoline ashaving met “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” standards at the retail location. Thisfuel is guaranteed to contain the proper level of detergent additives and be free ofmetallic additives. This helps avoid build-up of deposits in your engine andemission control system. Because the level of detergency and harmful metallicadditives (such as MMT) in gasoline vary in the market, Honda endorses the useof “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” where available to help maintain theperformance and reliability of your vehicle.
