1. The Department of Science and Technology, Bicol Region is now accepting applicants for the 2018 S&T Undergraduate Scholarships for RA 7687 and Merit Programs. The program is for senior high school graduating class belonging to top five percent (5%) of the Non-STEM strand and all interested graduating students belonging to STEM strand.

2. The selection of scholars is through a written examination which will be held on October 15, 2017 in designated testing centers to be informed on a later date.

3. To be eligible to take the scholarship examination, an applicant must possess the following qualifications:

a. Member of the STEM strand senior high school graduating class; or member of the top five percent (5%) of the Non-STEM strand senior high school graduating class;

b. Natural-born Filipino citizen and resident of the municipality for the last 4 years as attested by the barangay chairman;

c. With good moral character and in good health; and

d. Qualifier of the 2018 S&T Scholarship Examination

4. For the list of S&T Priority Courses and other requirements relative to the Scholarship, you may refer to the attached leaflet.

5. Application forms can be downloaded at www.sei.dost.gov.ph. Accomplished application forms and requirements can.be filed at DOST Region V, Rawis, Legazpi City not later than August 25, 2017.
