Participate in discussions & lectures by an eminent doctor regarding general health & well being.
Attend session by a nature worker to enlighten yourself upon the subject of nature field study.
POSTER & MODEL PRESENTATION
We are looking for inquisitive students having an aptitude for science to put forward their thoughts &
ideas into posters & models. Presentation should be innovative & creative & the idea must be an original one. The best presentation
will be acknowledged. Presenters are requested to bring their items on the very day of the event
DEBATEDebate is the art of dialect that puts questioning critical
thinking & in response pursue a logical & rational thinking. Students pursuing UG & PG degree in any field of life sciences are welcome to participate and represent their college or university. Each team must
have 2 members. Maximum number of teams representing a single college / university should be no
more than three. Further details will be released shortly.
CAREER COUNSELLINGStudents will get the opportunity to interact with the giants of the field and clear their doubts and gain a
broader perspective of the career options in the field of life sciences by an eminent personality.
Abstract ( in English ) for posters and models should be sent to The Zoological Society via email :
[email protected] . The abstract should be prepared using M.S. Word & must not exceed 150
words. The Title & Presenter’s name, address, contact number & email address should be provided.
FIELD WORK
A unique opportunity for students to interact with nature by participating in one
day NATURE WALK to gain first hand knowledge & practical experience in
BIRD & INSECT watching & identification under experienced guidance of professionals from NATURE MATES
at Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Indian Botanic Garden, Shibpur,
Howrah.
** SEATS ARE LIMITED!!Registration for Day 1 is mandatory for participating in the field work on Day 2!
LABORATORY DEMONSTRATION
Participating students will be introduced to scientific techniques & procedures by experienced SCHOLARS. The goal for
this course is to teach the basics of technology with emphasis on LAB -
BASED WORKS to push the knowledge of students & preparing them for their
careers in advanced science & research.
** SEATS ARE LIMITED!!Registration for Day 1 is mandatory for
participating in this course.
Who can participate?Students currently pursuing their Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in any field of Biological sciences are encouraged to participate in
BIOSCOPE 2019
Students who are registering for the events will have a free students’
membership of THE ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY,
KOLKATA for 1 year!!
All participants will receive appreciation certificate for
respective days.
