Wind power farms that are located in wide open areas are ideal for the production of clean renewable wind energy. Such places can be found inland close to fields and lakeareas, as well as close to the shoreline. On land the variable landscape with its hillsoffers more good sites for wind power generators.

Reka`s cables for wind power technology

Dryrex WIND products are 10, 20 and 36 kV medium voltage cables, suitable for the wind farm energy transfer network. They can be installed directly into the ground on the shoreline and on the terracing protruding out-wards from the shoreline. Dryrex WIND cables are suit-able for ground that is repeatedly or continuously wet.

For investments costs, the construction of a wind farm at a site onshore and inland is especially efficient when compared to sites planned further offshore or on islands. This is indicated by the clear majority of Nordic wind power projects. They can be executed reliably using Reka Cables’ Dryrex WIND and Rekoclean WIND power cables.

Reka Cables Ltd has years of experience in the feedcables mains installed inside wind mills. The halogen-free and flame-retardant 0.6/1 kV power cables in ourRekoclean WIND product range have been tested in practice and are cost efficient alternatives for compnents inside the wind power plants.
